Its just trickle down. Investors started pumping money into untraditional vehicles to lower stock market risk heading into q3 q4. There was also some organic growth as disposable income increased w/ student loan grace and stimulus checks. With interest rates so low banks,bonds,etc. are not ideal options. 2021 I think will be a moderate regression in mtg. Student loans will be back, corporate taxes will possibly rise leading to headwinds, headwinds in mtg itself, commercial real estate and municipal debt headwinds. In short if people start taking haircuts there isnt enough organic demand to prop up these prices. Although vintage is still very strong Im starting to see some weakness in certain areas that wasnt there a few weeks ago. Id be selling into this strength and looking to re buy next year.

after watching a bit more tho i gotta say..... collections like these, and just sorting stuff, evaluating, organizing, and analyzing these kinds of things is the weird hobby joy i always used ot have. i could do volunteer work just to sort out 40,000 cards for someone to go sell valuable ones from and id still be elated LOL. such a weird time and even be it new, old, bulk, or a single pack i find weird enjoyment it in more so than just hunting for some mythical card worth its weight in gold (that has to be graded, encapsulated and sold through legit channels). makes me wish i had more funds as kid to invest when i still enjoyed it and even more motivation to invest in the 2015-2019 era while i was in college so iid have something in actually good condition to look back at and sort through for fun in these months where im in-between academic life, and really entering the working world. didnt think id find your channel and content from looking up pokemon scam psa and info for curiosity but im glad i did. your approach to it and your older content is actually more entertaining than just "heres a ton of money watch me open stuff an get "rich"" vids that are causing this trend to explode. investment is always fun. just wish theyre was a more accessible market to exchange it with. then again i suppose that as the popularity continues to increase we might fiinaly have enough saturation that a market for most things will finally exist like we always hoped it would. not just N.o.s. or grade 10 perfect cards~ hahahaha cheers for 2021 and cant wait to watch what sorta insanity you get involved with this year.

@@jM-cj8qx That’s why Yu-Gi-Oh is having a humongous upswing right now, I think a lot of people are going to naturally spill over into that game because it has ubiquitous appeal through a cartoon show, that still continues to this day, the game is much more popular overseas thann in America, however, the multi national interest in this game is growing at an insanely rapid pace, there are a few international whales at this point that are injecting foreign cards in today USA market like never before seen, and people are actually buying these card that close to US dollar values, when they were previously well over 50% cheaper despite the fact that if they are anything but Asian language, you can play them in the USA. Konami also has one thing that it could do that would explode the games value, real prize support. Look into it lol

what a quality hoard. i would love to sink some or a large number of funds into something like an unfiltered bulk bin of cards i know or older things id love ot enjoy like yugioh or magic too esp since i never even got to build a full magic deck before except in MTA online~ but man its so hard. plus i know that i might want to "invest" but i would never have an avenue to sell them. id just love to have them and hunt for some special ones that id know or be able to enjoy for sure~ also with how absurdly behind and overwhelmed (6+ months for reasonable pricing) the grading places are like PSA and becket iu mean just the pokemon rush alone shut them down for the general user so id never be able ot get things graded. 400$+ just to try. and then magic and yugioh getting shit graded too tripling the income of hoards of cards they have to process? hell even if i started now id never get anything graded until 2025..... and honestly, i still want to find a place to buy from and collect from while its still just starting to ramp up and i could catch the old unmoving stock LOL. but its great to watch through your videos man. its honestly such a fantastic psa for the viewers and its true. theres so much potential there BUT EVERYONE HAS TO COLLECT WITHIN THEYRE MEANS. and not every single things is gonna be worth something gold :P

This situation is why I automatically sit on anything from original Kamigawa block and earlier. I will only declare an item as bulk if its newer than that, cause bulk modern cards are truly worthless and better to flip for any profit at all. Even if it does boom, it will be much later on.
