I agree I have about five or six years till retirement so I’ve been purchasing my bucket list items and I’m using them I don’t want them to just sit on the shelf ; you know so they can look pretty. I want to wear them use them and love them and enjoy them. By the way, I buy them for me no showing off or anything like that. I just want it for my own pleasure.

Hello, I was so happy to find a fellow canadian lady talking about luxury bags. I am love your pink LV. Quite unique. I used to love the YSL sunset bag even bought and resold it du to his weight. I am really careful about bags weight and few youtubers talk about this aspect in their review. The Uniloq bag dont do it to me. Too much gap because my lux bags and this. It reminds me of an soldier bag and it too masculine. When i need a carefree bag but still with style, i look at brand like nine west, guess

I can see what you mean about the sunset bag being quite heavy, I find if I use mine as a shoulder bag for a few hours it’s not too heavy for me but I can see how a full day out could perhaps be challenging with that bag. Nine West and Guess also have some really nice styles as well! I actually wish I didn’t love my Uniqlo sling bag as much as I do mainly because of the price, I could be using a different bag to lower my cost per wear but something about that sling bag I truly just enjoy! Thanks for sharing and I have only a few bags. I think that is good enough for me. I had to sell off many of my bags since I never used them. Having too many would give me a headache and becomes excess. You make good points that I totally agree with.

I can definitely appreciate having a smaller collection of handbags that’s really tailored to your everyday needs! I love handbags but I can understand why you would sell some on if you’re not reaching for them too often. I have really taken some time lately to think about my collection and the handbags I have and would potentially want to add. I want to make sure I’m using my handbags. Thanks for watching 😊

@@AlanaMarieFashionI know what you mean and I think a part of it is my late mom telling me not to be too materialistic. She always tells me to save money for more practical things and reasons instead of spending on things I don’t need. I only have about 4-5 bags now after I sell off the rest that I am not using. I already think that is good enough for me. Having less stuff is better than having too many excess items that I will not use and take up space.

I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Great video Alana, when you have a curated collection it's so important to consider what will work. I find it hard to pass on bags I love, even if they are not the most practical. I'm happy to rock things that are a bit more out there, but I also won't get things I know I can't get any use out of. 😅

This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyard’s canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas luxrul bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible
