Grace and peace to all brothers and sisters in Christ! The invisible God is made visible through His loyal servant Alistair Begg and the likes, who faithfully tend to Gods business and commands. Good sermon indeed and an interesting point on Simon the Cyrenian, father of Rufus (Mark 15:21) the same Rufus that is mentioned in (Rom.16:13). The names in the Bible are there for a reason and Simons family was one of those families forever altered by the events that took place as the Lord CHOSE Simon to help carry the cross. At the end of the book of Romans, Paul sends his greeting to Rufus and his mother - CHOSEN in the Lord (Rom 16:13) which is linked to 2-John 1 to the ELECT lady and her children. This family was not only CHOSEN by God but was known by the apostles and everyone who read the Bible afterward. When God chooses us, our lives are forever altered. We all come from different walks of life and use or life experiences to better relate with others as we help guide them to Christ.
