This deck is super fun and good in real life. In the game they have a tails bias on all coin flips resulting in a majority of flips being bad.

I run a local pokemon club and everytime one of the kids beats me I give them a pokecoin to my own little personal shop... but I nerf every one of the decks I build by putting insane restrictions on myself. 1) I must build decks with the newest set using cards ONLY from the newest set for an entire month. 2) I cannot use any rule box cards 3) I cannot build a "prebuilt" decks (ancient/future/rapid strike themed) Brambleghast was my immediate go to. This set has been... well it's been a challenge for sure. Got any ideas? Because I'm going to be giving out A LOT of free stuff this month. Lol

Tried a few rounds. Kept giving up 4 prizes to keep theirs lower than mine. Maxxing out the flip count with the special energy...some nice wins. 😅 Was wondering if it be decent to fit in a radiant charizard/fire around just in case the energy loaded bramble goes down.

You can feel the rage through the screen when you pull off Forretress+Iono. P.S. Had to come back to tell this. Put a few games in with this list and was able to pull off a turn 2 Roxanne with double Forretress. Totally irresponsible and bad play because I went all in one one Brambleghast with my basics, but it was hilariously fun. Did end up winning though, that same turn 2 I KO’d their Rotom (Charizard).

I've been playing around with gimmick decks for post rotation, 4 tool revavroom is funny with ace specs lol. Might have to try this out, looks like a ton of fun and should do a nice job countering zard which is huge in the local meta. Maybe add a Lumineon V and Forest Seal stone for more search, with a water energy to counter gouging fire?

Lumineon V would certainly make the deck more consistent, but one of the selling points of the Bramblin/Forretress ex/Dudunsparce combo is being able to clear your own bench of easy Boss’s Orders targets to force your opponent to fight through two Bramblin, which we saw factor in during the video. Lumineon V would just end up being a liability.

The problem is you then have to wait a turn to play either Professor Turo’s Scenario or the Supporter you searched out, which you may not have the luxury of doing, especially if you’re trying to Iono your opponent down to a small hand size and already have the Scenario in your hand/have a minimal chance of drawing into it.

Even though it works well in other decks, it probably isn’t cut out for a deck like this when you can just run higher counts of the “hand-lock” draw supporters. Even one turn of Lumineon V means either forgoing a double Forretress or gambling on your opponent not hitting Boss’s Orders (assuming they can set up an attacker even with a small hand and using Boss as their supporter, to be fair), which doesn’t feel great when this deck currently controls its own bench incredibly. Results will triumph over theory, of course, so feel free to test it.
