I'd argue that most of there releases were still good but 2013 hurt them beyond repair. Hellblade 2 was no worse than the heavily praised 2018 game but people are getting sick of the cinematic driven games, Hi Fi Rush was great but flopped everywhere including PlayStation and PC, Pentiment is great but it's more of a PC RPG enthusiast sort of game not going to resonate with most console players, Forza is still fine even though Motorsport 2023 was underwhelming. I'll admit I didn't like Starfield but Bethesda Softwares last good game was Skyrim and even that was largely inferior to Oblivion and Morrowind.

@@stevenbishop1782 I've enjoyed the Xbox lineup of games. There just haven't been a lot of exclusives in recent years- not like it used to be at least. Production time on these "AAA" games is way too long. How are you supposed to predict what gamers will be into in 10 years if it takes that long to make your game. It kind of makes early access releases make more sense in today's gaming landscape. As for Starfield, it was my first Bethesda game and I had nothing to compare it to so my naivety was okay with it... other than the constant loading screens! 🙄

I care about the X360. Bought my first one in 2023. Now have over 100 pyshicaly games and 60 digital. I'm a PC gamer so never got into console. Wish I did when 360 was launched. Great system.

The Xbox 360 was a true competitor to PlayStation and honestly, just a great time to be a gamer. Having access to all the titles now is pretty cool though!

Nope, never cared for this brand. But I will say, competition is healthy for the industry.

xbox lost the console war in 2013... buy they sell more games/services then anyone else.. the box is a PIECE of the pie.. not the entire pie. 30 million when your games have been everywhere since 2017... IS a good thing

Couldn't agree more! I never thought I'd see the day of cross-platform play between Xbox and PlayStation, but here we are! Exclusives might help console sales but they end up hurting gamers by locking them out of the experience instead of providing access through multiple platforms.

We need Competitors in the gaming industry because right now sony might be the next apple of the gaming industry they see people will buy a $699 console then whats stopping them from rising prices in the future

Exactly! It's a slippery slope, and considering most consoles are sold at a loss, they're itching to raise the price.

gotta love all the doom and gloom and yet the Series consoles have still sold almost 30 million. Like yeah i get it, there consoles sales will continue to go down as more of their games go to other platforms but there is still going to be a core Xbox fanbase that likes that ecosystem, the benefits of gamepass etc (i personally love quick resume) and even if their nextbox only sells like 15-20 million they will make up the difference selling tons of software all over

My quick resume never seems to work properly! I've been an Xbox fan for a long time, but in recent years I've gravitated towards PC gaming. I still have Game Pass though! It's awesome to have access to PC games and Xbox games in that manner.
