RE: Wide Playmaker WP and Wide AP will tuck inside and occupy the half-space area similar to that of a MEZ or IWB, which means you need somebody else to provide width on that side, usually provided by offensive LB/RB such as FB (At), WB (Su) or WB (At)

Re: Wide Playmaker. Back in FM '21 - I had a tactic that seemed to suit it. But I also believe it was partly down to the squad being quality not just the WP. Have you ever tried 3 playmakers? Obviously all different positions - DM (Regista) , CM (DLP support) and CM Roaming - had it dominate before but again likely because of the skilled players rather than the actual tactic

i think the tactic would work but as you said, you would need an iniesta, xavi and busquets level midfield for that to be the optimal approach i think haha

@@btechninja4952 exactly - I'd done a park to Prem style save, and 15+ years in you obviously get some insane new gens. I could basically do any formation and win with the team 🤣 but it was great to watch 3 playmakers

Good video (and yes your dog is adorable). Look forward to trying the AP and RPM combo. I’ve been having some success using a Regista as my playmaker - paired with a defensive midfielder (a half back or anchor) when playing with a back four, and with a more advanced BPM (in a central midfield position) with a back three. Seems to be working so far with AS Roma / Capitoline after signing Fagioli from Juventus (good passing and vision).

@ utter garbage , he disappears in every big match utd are in , has absolutely no heart for the fight , he’s a weak leader , shows all the worst aspects of being a utd captain , doesn’t inspire or protect his team mates especially the younger ones Presses the referee constantly , a very selfish player it’s never his fault but everybody else ….. that’s him in a nutshell that’s the standard that utd are excepting now players like him , trashford , maguire and others are the representation of that , the standards have dropped at utd with player’s who think utd are honoured to have them playing for them that used to be the other way round , these players have somehow forged a reputation of being brilliant to world class without showing any consistency and throwing managers under the bus , Amorim has a big job on his hands the clear out starts now trashford , fernandes , Maguire , Sancho , shaw and others must be shown the door
