Great video Scott. It would be very interesting if you interviewed HG Tudor, a diagnosed narcissistic psychopath, about narcissists & psychopathy. I would recommend HG Tudor’s books or his YT channel about Narcissism & psychopathy. As a diagnosed Narcissistic Psychopath he provides an excellent insight into narcissistic personalities. He also discusses empathetic personalities & why narcissists are drawn to the emotional thinking of the empath.

I've known at least two or three female psychopaths. No, they don't hide it. I've noticed that they don't seem to be aware of their bizarre/scary behavior. At least one has the serial killer eyes. The other one, I don't recall. That other one raised her fist at me after I caught her on my computer - scared the crap out of me. I promptly moved out of her and her boyfriend's residence for fear she'd slit my throat when I was sleeping - and I'd wake up dead.

Love the sweet'm'sour chicken psychopath story Scott. It sums it up so well! You mean to say that not everyone practices their facial expressions in front of the mirror? (Only kidding, I couldn't be bothered how I appear to others lmao!)
@Gokce-AysunКүн бұрын
This one is freaking me out. I used to practice faces in the mirror as a child. After watching a movie or something. I have no idea why. But I have feelings and empathy so I guess I can't be one, right? Also, I used to be a medic in the army. We did an open thoracotomy on a casualty and I ate dinner afterward and my comrades made a lot of comments about it. They said things like, how can eat after that? Only the brigade surgeon defended me on that one. Saying I would make a fine surgeon and don't listen to them. 😬
@simona_sigmund100119 сағат бұрын
@@Gokce-Aysun I also used to practice facial expressions in the mirror, but that's because I'm autistic, my Mum is autistic and my Dad was a psychopath. You shouldn't worry because you said you feel empathy so you could just be on the spectrum. For me I found it hard showing what I was feeling on the inside, because I have such an expressionless face sometimes, even if I'm feeling very emotional about something. Also, about the dinner thing when you were in the army - as someone who used to work in palliative care it was normal to go off on lunch break after a patient passed away. That didn't mean me and my colleagues didn't have empathy, just that we could compartmentalise how we were feeling. Hope this helps ^^
@Gokce-Aysun18 сағат бұрын
@@simona_sigmund1001 That actually makes sense. Our brigade psychiatrist who worked in our clinic during the war and knew us all pretty well- he said I met enough criteria for SPD (Schizoid). And that people with SPD often present as someone with high functioning Autism. I do have empathy and feelings, they are just not expressed very well. I guess they could be suppressed. I come off as someone who is extremely avoidant and introverted. I wonder how much is cultural too. Because a lot of my family is from Russia and a lot of them are pretty reserved and aloof. I can detach myself though. But maybe it's a defense mechanism and it actually benefited me being a combat medic and working under stressful conditions. I can only explain it like I can go in this detach mode in order be calm and focused on something that would otherwise be distressful and upsetting.

I have a sister who exhibits a lot of narcissistic traits-the thing that bothered me most interacting directly with her was that look of contempt she inevitably wore whenever I spoke about almost anything. An opinion, observation or fact were equally annoying. Automatically stiffened facial features, scowly knit eyebrows and glaring non blinking stare. Thin lips then she’d spit out her oppositional retort to whatever I was expressing. Emotions or feelings, especially sadness also met with a scornful response.

Have you ever come into contact with a person who seems to go to great lengths to *appear* to be a psychopath ?? Perhaps as a sort of defense mechanism ?? Maybe a physically weak or unimposing guy who intentionally tries to put off a vibe of an unfeeling, flat affect, maybe sort of odd acting person. Just seemingly *to* obviously apparently a psychopath. I dont know if I'm explaining it well. Like, "watch out, I'm crazy. You dont know what I might do."

You've got your horror movies switched about. The horror Halloween has Michael Myers as the bad guy. Moral being, just crazy. The horror movie where the killer is dead is Friday the 13th. & technically Jason isn't the killer in that. His Mom is. He just bursts out of the water at the end. It's from Friday the 13th 2 that Jason becomes the killer. Sorry, big time horror fan

Scott Rouse -We ALL have 1-3 traits of narcissism. To have NPD, one must have 5 or more traits. So when we meet a narc and fall in love fast and cant believe how much we have in common with him or her, its because they are empty. They will hear us talk about ourselves in the beginning because they want to fill themselves up with our traits in order to feel human and relate to us. They dont set out to hurt us. As a matter of fact they are searching for love they never were shown. They think they find it in us but when we make a mistake then were all bad and they get angry at us and scorn us. Thats what their parents did because they had to look like the perfect family to outsiders. Behind doors was hell on earth and abuse beyond what the normal person could undrstand. Anyways so when welook into their eyes and fall in love, their eyes are mirrors that reflect us back to us. So we actually fell in love with ourself. Yes we are all narcs from one extreme to another. And just because we see a few traits in someone, we automatically deem him or her, a narc and we hate them and say it on many threads. They have had enough hell. And they go for empaths because they know we love and forgive and have empathy. They know we are the ones that can teach them about love. So anyone who hates them and wishes them to burn in hell is NOT NOT NOT an empath. If we have boundaries and stick to them, they wont hurt us and they can still be our friend whether from afar or close up if were strong enough. We need to show rhem love. And it doesnt include sex. Maybe just maybe we can help that missing part in their brains, grow again. Remember that they are still children in adult skin and we best not be afraid of them. That is important. This goes for if were dating a son or daughtr of one. There is no fear in love. People are apt to become really angry if everyone is running away from them. We are here to serve each other. Not be served. Pass this inportant piece of info along and think about what i say everyone. And thank God youre not one if you arent. Love and boundaries are key. Thank you for listening guys. Be safe and smile at strangers, say hi, and compliment someone whenever you can. Repent and find our true God who formed us and knew us in the womb. He is the I AM Christ Jesus. Sleep well.

I would like to hear described what it's like to be a mostly normal healthy person, as how it differentiates from cluster b individuals. I am a pretty much lifetime cluster b, primarily borderline with some narcissistic overlap. I have experienced the fine line of transforming into a secondary psychopath in extreme crisis occasions, but i felt the edge so to speak, i felt the looming opportunity to turn off all emotion and focus only on self preservation, but chose not to cross it. Since my brain was different from birth, i want to know what it's like to be very normal.
