I had planned to send a question in but now I know exactly what I want to ask. This video helped me understand so much - thank you! Btw, the stool softener comment is perfect 😂

Damn.. you completely described and explained my ex, and how and why no one believes me about the evil things he’s done. Still fighting regarding the injustices. Please pray for me!

Melody Farris was covering her upper lip with her hand probably from embarrassment. In the wedding photos, she had a smooth and flat area between her upper lip and nose. During trial that area seemed larger. She did not have access to her dermatologist. These are my thoughts. 😊

It was years before I knew I was dealing with a psychopath. There was a bunch of behaviors that made no sense. He slipped and I could see the senseless hatred. Then I realized he would harm me even if it harmed himself. I knew his backstory and it explained everything. He was getting back at me because he couldn’t destroy his stepmother. When he was on a tear he would puff up to look huge. When he got called out he would shrivel up into victim mode.

Are there more people like Bundy, Ramirez, etc...? Of course, there are, actually some of them are trying to run the government, and doing a piss poor job, and as you can see, they don't mind lying to you, and you're seeing the results every day. They don't mind the fact that they make others suffer.

I used to have customers who would tell me what a nice guy my ex was. No one knew he was manipulating them for higher bonuses. He’s so Covert it took dreams to show me what was wrong with him. His lies come out of the side of his mouth, sometimes with his hand over his mouth, like he’s telling a secret. He’s not a violent but he has more fun manipulating people without being detected.

I dated a guy for 2 years, the flags started flying within 3 months .... the dealbreaker was lack of trust (we were both in our early 50s) with the constant need to call 5-8 times a day and indignation if i didn't pickup. He had an abusive childhood and I didn't. Some times you have to walk away for your own salvation.

There are many studies on phycopathic people but are there studies on opposite types such as empaths or over emotional people?

I've heard that even people with autism train to mimic people's facial expressions... - So maby don't confuse those with psychopaths

Although it’s something people are born with, can someone develop psychopathy after certain traumatic brain injuries?
@VladimirGitcherocksoff22 сағат бұрын
Have you ever come into contact with a person who seems to go to great lengths to *appear* to be a psychopath ?? Perhaps as a sort of defense mechanism ?? Maybe a physically weak or unimposing guy who intentionally tries to put off a vibe of an unfeeling, flat affect, maybe sort of odd acting person. Just seemingly *to* obviously apparently a psychopath. I dont know if I'm explaining it well. Like, "watch out, I'm crazy. You dont know what I might do."

Hi Scott! I thought of you and the Behavior Panel recently when I caught a coworker lying-I spotted this tiny microexpression that totally gave him away. He was just trying to entertain himself and probably would’ve admitted it eventually, but everyone else was freaking out while I couldn’t stop laughing! They were all so confused about how I could’ve known. It was hilarious, but more than that, it was such a relief and I felt so much gratitude. I started watching your & other videos obsessively in the past when I was manipulated badly. I’m still dealing with some of the consequences, but I’d rather keep this skill than get any of the things lost back! Narcissist vs psycho- I thought narcissists are more motivated by image, while psychos are more motivated by power. Maybe someday talk about how to be less narcissistic. I had plenty assessments in my therapies and didn't fall much into this category, yet there are often narcissistic tendencies because of which I make really stupid decisions. It's probably not so uncommon? Or am I more narcissistic than I like to think? :)

Love the sweet'm'sour chicken psychopath story Scott. It sums it up so well! You mean to say that not everyone practices their facial expressions in front of the mirror? (Only kidding, I couldn't be bothered how I appear to others lmao!)

Scott Rouse -We ALL have 1-3 traits of narcissism. To have NPD, one must have 5 or more traits. So when we meet a narc and fall in love fast and cant believe how much we have in common with him or her, its because they are empty. They will hear us talk about ourselves in the beginning because they want to fill themselves up with our traits in order to feel human and relate to us. They dont set out to hurt us. As a matter of fact they are searching for love they never were shown. They think they find it in us but when we make a mistake then were all bad and they get angry at us and scorn us. Thats what their parents did because they had to look like the perfect family to outsiders. Behind doors was hell on earth and abuse beyond what the normal person could undrstand. Anyways so when welook into their eyes and fall in love, their eyes are mirrors that reflect us back to us. So we actually fell in love with ourself. Yes we are all narcs from one extreme to another. And just because we see a few traits in someone, we automatically deem him or her, a narc and we hate them and say it on many threads. They have had enough hell. And they go for empaths because they know we love and forgive and have empathy. They know we are the ones that can teach them about love. So anyone who hates them and wishes them to burn in hell is NOT NOT NOT an empath. If we have boundaries and stick to them, they wont hurt us and they can still be our friend whether from afar or close up if were strong enough. We need to show rhem love. And it doesnt include sex. Maybe just maybe we can help that missing part in their brains, grow again. Remember that they are still children in adult skin and we best not be afraid of them. That is important. This goes for if were dating a son or daughtr of one. There is no fear in love. People are apt to become really angry if everyone is running away from them. We are here to serve each other. Not be served. Pass this inportant piece of info along and think about what i say everyone. And thank God youre not one if you arent. Love and boundaries are key. Thank you for listening guys. Be safe and smile at strangers, say hi, and compliment someone whenever you can. Repent and find our true God who formed us and knew us in the womb. He is the I AM Christ Jesus. Sleep well.

You know Scott, I was a very sensitive kid, and I paid attention to body language at a very young age because I learned at a young age that often words mean very little and that I was better off paying attention to peoples actions, and then learning tells. To the point that I could tell with extreme accuracy whether an adult was giving me a snow job, or meant what they said. I'm no genius, but I'm not stupid either and a lot of answers to body language questions seem like common sense to me. Not everything of course. But, I do enjoy when you guys geek out on it because then I really learn things.
