I really like that the writer’s intent with the characters translated well into the movie. So many people react badly when we have “unlikeable” main characters, saying they’re problematic or whatever. We can have bad people as the protagonists, even root for them, but still understand that their behavior is bad and shouldn’t be mimicked

I seriously hope this movie isn’t overlooked. This might actually be one of my favorite comedies I’ve seen in the last 2-3 years. Great writing, dialogue and characters with a great balance of humor totally suited towards my style and really dramatic moments. Camila and Maya have amazing chemistry! I LOVE THEM!! I wish that Jennifer Kaytin Robinson brought this level of excellence to her Thor: Love and Thunder script. Either way, this is one of the most pleasent surprises I’ve had watching a movie in a while! AHHH!! Please give us a sequel, Netflix!!😍😍

I really loved this movie. I haven't seen a lot of teen comedies, but this definitely gave me Mean Girls vibes. Stacked cast, great casting, great plot. I know some people find it weird how they they are just letting go of all the bad stuff they did to one another, but i like that they just let it go. They let it go, no grudges. You don't see that really in media or even real life. I don't really know how else to put it, but it was cool that they did that. Letting go of the past.

After I finished watching this I was reminded that the writer of this was also the creator of the (criminally cancelled) show Sweet/Vicious and once I was reminded my thoughts immediately went "of fucking course". Not only is it built from a lot of the same DNA, but that friend of Erica's that was just as upset as her about her being framed for having Cocaine was one of the leads in Sweet/Vicious. I actually think Sweet/Vicious would be a perfect show for you to check out. Though it is slightly harder to find these days, despite only like six years old.
