How many seconds or minutes do I allow base coat to absorb powder before dusting it off before I apply another base coat layer?
@RossiNails4 жыл бұрын
You may wait until you work on your other hand - around 3-4 minutes ☺️

I've watched a lot videos and no one seems to use the brush saver. How do you use that and is it necessary? It would be helpful to know before I attempt this dip powder manicure😊

Hi there! Yes, a Brush Saver is essential to take care of your liquid brushes. Here's a video on how to use it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ62fKStbKinlaM

I need help! I just received my order yesterday and tried it out for the first time right away and not even 24 hours later all my polish is completely falling off, like the entire manicure is just falling off like I had a fake nail on, and on other nails its chipped already! What am I doing wrong? How do I prevent this?
@RossiNails4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Melissa. We are grateful for your order and we are sorry to hear you're having a bit of problem with the results. To prevent them from cracking and lifting, we advise to generously use the Rossi Activator and apply it covering the tip of the nail or until the nails end, capping the nails edges. The first layer of the Activator is the what sets and cures the powder, seals it in and later on prevents it from chipping and lifting. Drag the brush and wipe the nail edges to cap the nails. Make sure to let it fully dry before you proceed to shaping and buffing of nails. After applying the second of the Activator make sure to let it dry first before applying the Rossi Top Coat. When applying the Rossi Top Coat, the first coat should be applied using quick strokes and wait for 20-30 seconds before applying the second coat. You may apply the second coat using slower strokes but make sure to apply closer to the cuticle area and again capping the nail edges to ensure that there will be no lifting chipping, lifting or cracking of the products. We also recommend to apply the products at least a hairline away from the cuticle. This is because when the products are applied on the cuticle (or accidentally on skin), they are not properly sealed and can cause moisture and sweat to seep into the base causing it to crack. We do encourage as well to clean the surface with a fluffy brush every time you dip and to keep your brush flat for even application. Please note that the most common cause of cracks is uneven application between layers and coats.The angle in which the brush is held plays a critical role too: If the brush is tilted upright and perpendicular to the nail, product builds unevenly and creates hills and ridges, which can lead to cracking. We also recommend to dip the finger in the powder tub at a 45-degree angle. Dipping the finger into the powder at 90 degrees usually also leads to an uneven surface. We hope this helps.

Hi, I just receive the product today. Is it possible to do my nails without primer?
@RossiNails3 жыл бұрын
Hi Diana! Yes, you may! You may use rubbing alcohol instead to remove your nails natural oils. This should ensure proper adhesion of the products!🥰

Do you wipe the brush off with a clean cloth or with alcohol before putting back in the bottle to avoid any contamination?
@RossiNails4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nessa, you can wipe it with a lint free-wipe or clean cloth with acetone before putting it back on the bottle to avoid contamination. :)

@@RossiNails Thanks. Do you wipe it off each time or once you've finished applying it to the nails?

I can’t ever get the top coat to work right. With one coat it isn’t shiny or smooth. So I wait a couple minutes until it is dry. And then do a second coat. It turns out smooth and shiny but never dries!!! I will wait like 10 minutes under a low fan without touching and still it will rub off in spots. I give up

Can you add a nail tip then do dipping powder
@darlaevans34984 жыл бұрын
Jay315 Cruz yes! Just make sure you use the apex method. Aka building up powder where the nail needs strength, like where the tip and the real nail meets.

@TheMingez23 жыл бұрын
Same thing happened to me. I think I may have put too much base coat. It’s a very thin layer and I put a lot on the brush and that’s probably why it came out lumpy.

My hat goes off to anyone that can use dip powder and GET IT OFF. I ruined three nails. Yes, i followed the instructions. Never again. I like the way it applies. Why cant they make it as easy to remove as regular polish. Is there a trick? Like using a regular base coat? I change up my colors too much to care if it last a long time.
