I was told a long time ago be your own inspector. Have a flashlight and mirror with you. Keeping your both clean and organized. Something that I do is on a 6010 7018 test is bring in enough 6010 for the root and get the 7018 when I need it. Keeps things from getting mixed up and give you a 2min break to walk to the hot box.

My question is how do the neet little welding jigs equate real world welding, honestly I would administer the test in a 7 foot tranch with 3" of mud while its 45 degrees!

Yep, ordered one in October 2021, took my money and deleted his Instagram account, closed the website, completely went ghost. His Instagram is back up, I still have no hood, and I’m still out $200 for a hood. This jackass acts like nothing happened. Do NOT order from hubcap. Outlaw leather however has been very good to me. 110% recommend outlaw.

I had done some testing on coupons to demonstrate leaving a little slag at the toe of your weld I had always thought that you burn it out I don't do x-ray or anything like that and it don't burn out do you have visible slag at the toe of your weld it's not going to burn out you're not going to consume that it's not going to melt out you're going to weld right over the top of it I wouldn't x-ray any coupons I was cutting them apart when you're cutting on that you can see all the blemishes in the world at the end of that cutting torch yes sir yes sir and wagon tracks if they're deep then it'd be a good idea to get that grinder in there and loosen them up a little bit because if they're deep are you going to leave a divot in there and then they're going to bust it out when they bend it or if you're out on the line and you brush your way through a well test like through these guys and that's going to catch on x-ray
