yeah Gubz isn't actually a comic book fan or he would know this. the flash can read an entire library in less than 60 seconds that takes mental comprehension at super speed as well. meaning he can think super fast as well. the only problem with the whole physics is actually the fact they wouldn't be able to see at fast speeds because if they move near or at the speed of light then their eyes wouldn't be able to get the images of light bouncing off stuff as they move that fast. they would need some sort of perception that allowed them to see without the use of light.

Yes and both can manipulate time in different ways. Flash can actually move quick enough to time travel and quicksilver subconsciously manipulates gravity and inertia. Quicksilver can't time travel but he can increase his gravity while decreasing everyone else's. He doesn't even need super speed to be fast.

Pretty much. Barry Allen's power is not boasting when he says he's the fastest man alive. The Speed Force powers him to a degree where he can be immortal due to how fast he heals, how fast he runs, how fast he thinks. Also,Barry Allen is on record as being able to travel at luminal terms, meaning he can travel at over 800 thousand Machs. Quicksilver's max is Mach 4. Yeah, no contest. Also, Flash can time travel and does so a lot in fact. Quicksilver can only time travel once and it was a cheat power that wasn't even because of his super speed.

The main difference between them is that due to the source of their powers, Flash can technically harness the SPeed Force to boost himself through the multiverse and even travel through time. Quicksilver has only ever time traveled once, and that was due to a cheat that had nothing to do with his natural speedster ability.

Both of the speedsters (except dash) have a thing called altered perception. This makes it possible for them to react to stuff when moving. When quicksilver is ‘standing still, he still can see time seemingly slower. He then has to move fast to stop himself from being caught in the blast. In short, they see the world in slo mo when they want to, but need to move fast to stop them self from just seeing the explosion in slo mo.

Well speedsters' powers do have an on and off switch in a way. I mean it is like when a normal person chooses to move fast or slow, but Flash or Quicksilver just happen to be able to move extremely fast when they choose to. Also, every part of their body can work that fast including their brain which means they perceive things in super speed too when they run. So it's like a normal jog to them.

A Speedster could stand still while moving at super speed. How? The Flash has already given us the answer. The Speed Force. What if ALL Speedsters use a variation of a Speed Force? They literally shunt their bodies into a sub-dimension, sort of the way the Millennium Falcon jumps into Hyperspace. This explains how they can still perceive the world around them even at hypersonic speeds. Simply because they aren't technically in the world. They are in the Hyperspace or Speed Force or whatever. This theory even explains how they can move other people and objects without destroying them. Touching someone allows you to bring them with you into this side speed dimension. At least a little bit. The other person isn't in fully in there, so they can't perceive events, but they are undamaged by the sudden acceleration. While in this speed dimension you are out of phase with current space time and therefore can stand still but still remain "sped up."

That’s a good theory, that explains why when speedsters actually run, like run run, everything around them is a blur and they are just speeding by and can’t perceive anything but when they use their speed whilst not running instead everything becomes clear and time is irrelevant so hey have freedom to do their superheroing and stuff and they can carefully move things while moving and a “regular speed”. See, their bodies are “sped up”, by this speedforce or whatever but their minds are not so this is why they are able to perceive everything clearly as if it’s in slow motion, and then get the job done. When they run, they are only tapping in to the speed dimension, but when they speed up their bodies and keeping their mind and a regular speed,(lets call this Speed Walking) they are traveling into it.

One thing that I noticed is that Pietro and Barry would need to eat a lot. 1.They run fast for a lot of time, so they would burn a lot of calories, which need to be replaced 2.Due to their high metabolism they would need to eat a lot, even if they don't run Maybe it is good, that Pietro died because the Avengers/Shield couldn't or wouldn't want to pay for this much food for one person

I think that when they stop moving they are still vibrating their particles (they do this to make the air particles flow through them to stop air resistance) and that is why time is still slow for them. Denky Mems Uhh no ever been to school? Clearly not. Thiccsilver does have more weight but he has more mass. This means he has more areas to put energy than supman. Also, Thiccsilver’s thiccness is made entirely of muscle. That’s a lot of muscle in one area, which means more energy can be sent to his legs at the same time. Supman, however, has a lot of muscle but it’s all in a bunch of different areas, so it takes longer to get energy to his legs. So, Thiccsilver can get more energy in his legs faster than supman can. And like you said, more energy means more speed. So Thiccsilver is faster.

The space ship theory has never made sense to me. If I'm travelling for 5 years, no matter how fast, its still five years. If I'm doing 80 on the 405 and a buddy is doing 10000000000000000000000 on the 405.. When we FaceTime after 30 seconds, he'll be well on his way to Mars, and I'll still be in the same spot cause of traffic lol, but 30 seconds is 30 seconds... Captain Malcolm Reynolds but a light year is only "the distance light travels in a year" also the fast you go, the slower things are around you. Which is why standing still a person running by you at 20mph is insanely fast. But you driving 85 past the person doing 20mph makes them look like a turtle lol. Everything about relativity makes sense to me but the spaceship theory

Gubz didn't explain it well. How time dilation works is the time you experience is relative to your velocity proportional to the speed of light. Everyone on Earth is traveling pretty much the same speed (as in no where near the speed of light) so they experience time the same. When quicksilver is seeing people be slow that is more of his super power to perceive things quickly and not due to time dialation.

As in with time dialation the closer you get to the speed of light, you experience time less then people traveling slower. They age faster or you age slower, however you want to look at it.

Here's a theory: Maybe they have enhanced mental processing? Their thought speed is as fast as they run? Since in Season 4 of the Flash, it is stated that Flash's thought speed increased 5 times. Let's be generous and say he's as slow as a regular human originally, he can still react in milliseconds. Reactions should be related to thought speed as well, so I think a speedster's thought speed is fast too.
