Too bad you didn't watch the video from start to finish. There you could have seen his little humble speech after the performance with subtitles in English and many other languages. He has a fan base in around 140 different countries. The thing with the flowers has something to to with the cultur in Russia. The audience listen quiet and carefully to the artist and in the end they shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing. 23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. It’s unbelievable. These middle easter sound (melisma) he does in one or another song. It’s really awesome. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest. This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently. If possible, always watch the videos to the end. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. In this case he thanked the band A-Studio. It’s a Kazakh band who wrote this song. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion, much better 😄. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash can sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). Dee-m-ahhh-sh is what you are saying and that is correct. Many people make the mistake of pronouncing the middle like 'mash' (as in mashed potato), and that would be wrong. If you want to pronounce his last name it is Ku-die-bur-gen. (On Russian shows they add an -ov to the end because Russian male surnames end always end with an -ov, but his name does not have an -ov)

Love Freddie and Love Dimash❤. As much as I love the former for his pathbreaking musical forays with Montserrat Caballe, eg, the latter comes from a world of vocal perfection with a future dimension yet to be manifested. Their stage charisma and performance skills are mesmerising and I would say unparalleled, and Dimash in addition has this purity, authenticity and humility about his person that makes him so lovable. With Freddie it was his raw talent and innate shyness that captivated us. I don't even want to speculate what his voice could have been had he not smoked like a chimney. But both their energy comes from their passion for singing and performing. It is worth noting that Queen concerts lasted for the most part about 1h45, whereas Dimash goes on for over three hours in his live concerts. Different era and lifestyles may account for that. Think Dee Mosh (as in Mosh Pit) with a Canadian accent so comes out to Dee-maah-sh with an Americain accent🤭😂😂😂 Dimash was inspired by Freddy Mercury in his youth but so far Dimash has not produced a pure Heavy Metal song yet.😪 There is a great Metal teaser note/scream in "The Story of One Sky".🙄 I think your next choice should be "When I've Got You" music video. Original and dark with a Rock/Blues vibe. Dimash has perfect pitch so sounds the same in music videos. Only difference is that he often sings his own back-up vocals in music videos😂😂 For heavier percussion, I believe that you would love "Olympico". The live from the Arnau Concert (circle of stars thumbnail) is best choice but only if you can set up cc's for english. Lyrics are very inspirational but sung in italian.
