Things that are being overlooked: This is happening right before finals week/on finals week for colleges. Students want to be able to go to class and study to make sure they pass classes that cost thousands of dollars. (A different problem, regarding education.) Apparently a majority of the people being arrested are not students. With over 50% of the people arrested on campus at UT Austin, not students. Unsure about the other schools. If interested please look into it. In a statement sent by UT spokesperson Brian Davis, the university said: "To date, from protesters, weapons have been confiscated in the form of guns, buckets of large rocks, bricks, steel enforced wood planks, mallets, and chains," the statement read. "Staff have been physically assaulted and threatened, and police have been headbutted and hit with horse excrement, while their police cars have had tires slashed with knives." Protesters at Columbia University took over a hall, barricading themselves in, and refused to leave. Causing property damage and interfering with learning. I'm concerned for both parties. Nobody should be dying. If the land from Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea is put in control of the Palestinians. What would happen to the Israelites ? From River to Sea! sounds eerily close to propaganda. Keep in mind the National Socialist Party where not the bad guy's until World War II started, and we learned of the atrocities they committed in the aftermath. Even the local commoners that lived in The Villages near Auschwitz had no idea how terrible their own people were being. Until the Allies invited them in and viewed the camp. Now that Hamas has accepted the ceasefire, hopefully we can find a resolve for all people.

I recently retired from an upstate NY college campus at the age of sixty-nine. This job was tasked related in food services, and not mentally challenging at all. As a young adult I became very ill with a chronic illness that put me down for the count and kept me from finishing a college degree. That said I managed to work for the USPS for 21 years. I took this food service job to get me to my retirement years. What I encountered time and again were students highly educated in tech, science and higher math but history, social studies, geography, religious studies and common sense skills, such as counting change back to a customer, have been ignored by our school systems. It really shocked and saddened me. There is an underlying ignorance in today's younger generations that spells a certain doom for the world. They are sheep, bleating answers they have no substance to back themselves up with. And at some point a wolf will corner them into a place from which none will return from.
