I would close my eyes for extra time to think. Blink consists from eyelid closing then opening right?
@kevinschultz60912 жыл бұрын
I was thinking about that, but then tested it out, and realized I was blinking with my eyes closed. Although the argument could be made that if it's not a quick movement of the eyelid, it's not a blink; thus (arguably), you could open and close your eyes in slow motion and not count it as a blink at all.
@thomasreddy4162 жыл бұрын
They had a Who can go the Longest Without Blinking Contest. Greg's friend Rhod won & he warned people not to try it. His hurt very much. Later, in the studio, Alex said they could have closed their eyes as a tactic & it would have been allowed. They where a little upset they didn't think of it.

Dear America: why don't we like comedy on TV anymore? And I don't mean the poor substitutes of Fallon giggling like an 8th grade girl trying pot for the first time or Colbert proselytizing about politics to an audience prompted by a sign that says "LAUGH". I mean comedy, involving comedians just being hilarious for its own sake, like with this... Or "Big Fat Quiz", or "8 out of 10 Cats" or "Cats /Countdown" or "The Last Leg" or "Hypothetical" or on and on and on. And here's the thing: Alex brought Taskmaster (the best of the lot imo) over here... And we didn't watch! We're so damned full of ourselves that we can't laugh unless we're told that we won't get in trouble for it first. We had Jack Benny, Burns and Allen, Abbott and Costello, Red Skelton, and Johnny Carson. We made "Mad World" and "Tootsie" and "Seinfeld" and "I Love Lucy." What the hell happened?
@parryyotter2 жыл бұрын
The US version wasn’t good. It’s why it was canceled. Your essay lamenting the downfall of comedy was a very unnecessary read. This is KZbin, sir.
@adamplace14142 жыл бұрын
@@parryyotter Thanks for reading. I don't usually do things that I find to be unnecessary, but to each their own... Obviously...
@FFKonoko2 жыл бұрын
No, it isn't that you needed to be told "you won't get in trouble." Hell, the opposite. Easiest laugh and applause to get out of an american audience is to claim that someone else won't like whatever joke that just failed to get a laugh by itself. "You hold things like "I love lucy" as part of the pinnacle of comedy, and lambasted colbert for having audiences be prompted to laugh. But they would have used a laugh sign too. So it's really just that you don't like that it's "political". Maybe that's the real problem, everything is political. You can't even care about your fellow man without riling donkeys.
