(June, 2024) The Days Inn Orange Avenue in Roanoke might've been converted to "luxury" apartments, but let's see if they kept the elevators!

Thanks for the video. Wow I would have thought it was Illegal to Remove elevators and not put new ones in Considering that it is a three story Building that had Elevators before the Renovations

The weirdest, and maybe most "luxurious" part to me is the fact that they didn't even bother to remove the call buttons. How lovely.

i mean the elevator is still there, all they have to do is remove the wall and put back the door. because when an elevator is decommsioned it can easily be put back in service. they just put door back in, fill tank with oil, and turn it on

But why not install a new elevator. People aren’t going to pay expensive amounts for a luxury Apt without a elevator. Also against ADA compliance
