Ok hi there I have the pod go .. Everything you say sound right . Pre set sounds good My one word of advice Is to move your mic that’s at the speaker back .. 4,5,6,7 ft till happy it’ll give you a much better live sound Your move air like a real cab … anyway hope it’s helpful try it …

Thanks for the good feedback. I have tried all distances with mic placement on the POD Go. And I prefer the sound of the mic being closer. That's what makes my ears happy :)

I never understood why the chorus is put after an amp. I mean if I had a real chorus pedal I would plug my guitar into it, and it would go straight to either the effects loop or just plugged in the front. In fact with my old laney amp it was always plugged in the front as it didn't have any effects loop.

@@TheTimeProphet I put the chorus block in between the amp and cab on my presets. I like how it sounds. As I stated, there are no rules but some generally accepted best practices when it comes to order of effects 😁

When you put the chorus in the fx loop it surrounds the guitar sound instead of through it. Both are great. I like mixing two..one before and one after amp at low settings. But yeah most fx loops are voiced for reverb and delay.. stuff to go around the tone

On default settings…I don’t touch it. I might adjust it if I don’t like how my preset sounds against the venue’s natural acoustics and such. But yeah, I rarely ever touch it.
