Please read*** I’m not trying to be disrespectful fishing in these flooded houses, especially right now when so much of southern Minnesota is effected by flooding. These houses being underwater has nothing do to with the flooding this year, this lake isn’t anywhere near the flooding or even in the same state. This lake has been flooded for years and is open to the public to fish around the houses. I was just trying to make the best out of this bad situation in my area. My heart goes out to the people that are effected by this current flood and I am praying for you all ❤

The flood is absolutely crazy but also very sad, it’s a shame what’s happening in southern Minnesota, all I had to deal with was moving all my stuff since the basement was flooded, some people weren’t as lucky :( but for real fishing be swimming in the houses is wild, I bet the big ones are just downstairs lol

Hey Andrew thanks for watching, it was a Challenge to locate the fish but I’m glad I found em, it was a blast. Pike are awesome, same with musky, what fish do you have that would be similar?
@MikeYurbasovich5 ай бұрын
@NASPELTZ You missed the musky in the garden shed. That is crazy stuff. In Wisco judges are warding boaters off flooded property. I don't have a boat anymore so it doesn't affect me. Looking at river gages it's still very different looking for places to fish. Lots of water
@AndrewFishman5 ай бұрын
@@NASPELTZ Similar, nothing really. Our big fella down south is the Murray Cod, up north is Barramundi. Both are fantastic topwater fish, but much heavier set and bigger than the pike. Cod are more like a giant Large Mouth. Barra are like a slightly smaller Nile Perch. The Murray Cod can get to 6 feet +, but 3.3 foot (in our parlance "A metrey" or a fish over a metre) or bigger is considered a good fish. The Barra do not get as big, but again, a metrey is a good fish. You would have to go for something like the barracudda in the salt for similar to the pike.
