I’ve owned a pair of those Wiha cutters for six or seven years now, they are great to have for the occasions where they help, but the dipped handle version of the Klein dikes are my daily. The fact that you can cut way more material (without the power button) with the Klein and the head is less bulky, make them way more versatile than the Wiha’s. The Wiha’s definitely have a place in your toolbox/bag, just maybe not in your tool pouch till you actually want to use them.

as an 'professional' electrician this clip is pretty hard to watch. one of the first thing to learn and important skill any craftsman should be able to know is WHICH tool to use, HOW to handle it and WHAT it actually does. this tool doesnt really cut it is squeezing the material till it comes apart and thats what u actually try to avoid to do when cutting cable. its more likely to use as a boltcutter eventhough wiha says u can cut cable with it and there's a VDE version of it. cut single wires may be fine but the way u use it in this clip isnt how its supposed to be used. just saying but at the end everyone is free to use their tools like they want to do.

hey bud, you gonna go Live again tonight or not ?

This is silly. Why would you make a pair of cutters with a" power" and a" less power" setting? Who would ever say I need less cutting power for this job.
@toolsandtacticsАй бұрын
they don't do less power like i first thought i cleared that up they just have regular and even more

Jaw opening is narrower when switched to the power setting.

@tech29X yeah a huge down side!

@@toolsandtacticsGiven the choice of not having it at all, I still prefer having the option to engage the power button rather than having to get off the ladder, reach out the tool box, switch to another tool, for biting a nail's head off.
