I do the same thing, I wash and style and then get a hair cut the next day, when I come home I wash and style again, after it has dried I put in my products and durag up, I recently start using the shea butter as you recommend but I style use my oils also! Respect for the information and guidance!!

That happens to me sometimes too. I believe you have to brush a little more and more lather to lay everything down.

ik this late but if they looking good after just do the same thing you would do if it was your 50th time oil up use soft brush to fix messed up spots then use ziplock bag put your hand in it and lay the extra frizz down

i dont know if this is the actual correct method but for me if ive done a wash and style before bed and my waves are looking good in the morning, I lay it down abit more and then i shower or in your case bath with a shower cap on while making sure it doesn't touch my hair. Basically let nothing touch your hair
