At about 7:00, you spoke about your breathing. Something that I teach my students is what I call "sleep breathing." It's absolutely relaxed and allows the muscles to gently squeeze the trigger.
@MotherScreng6 ай бұрын
in ROTC they taught us to breath half out then fire in between heartbeats. well my resting heart rate is 83 bpm or so, and with range noise I can barely hear myself think (even with good ear protection) haha. i like this breathe out and HOLD method because it removes chest movement, and if i fire when my heart beat causes a slight movement well then ill miss by 6.001 cm instead of my usual 6.000 haha. i like robs method!

I have had to whip out the AK Boot Camp book at the range to refer to info, and show others what they needed to know. Also, I have been told by Rob Ski in videos, and others friends at the range, that bad groups can be frustrating, and attributed to cheap ammo. So It helps to try different ammo, name brands. Cool post Rob Ski, my regards sir.

That target completely took me back to BASIC training. We had M16A1 s. One good fundamental of BRM is the penny drill, where while in a firing position you learn how to dry fire the weapon without the penny on the end of the muzzle device falling off. Really teaches you how to correctly pull and not jerk the trigger.

Even though you are pulling rifle into shoulder, you should put some forward pressure and load the bipod. Yes you want to control firearm, but the less you squeeze your grip the better. Try it, it's how we shoot past 1,000. With our bolt guns
@AkOperatorsUnion6 ай бұрын
We will talk about bipods in later videos - patience

I tried "loading" the bipod but sometimes it would slide on the concrete. I feel like that technique works in very controlled conditions.

@@frankopanklaric I had the same problem shooting from the bench. I solved it by, one screwing on the carbide tipped feet that came with my bipod. Or, since the metal edge of the bench hurt my elbow. I have a small rug, that's kinda nappy, and throw that over the bench. Helped me out.

It's a great way to teach yourself what a leveled rifle feels like.
