Fascinating to watch your left knee during those swings, especially during the "high shot" versions. That's the shot (including bunker shots) where I fear that I may sometimes end up with my sternum angled the wrong way in spite of keeping my weight left. I'll bet that sort of left knee move might help correct my entering the sand further behind the ball than intended. . .

Excellent instruction. Is the weight forward on these shots? Thank you
@robcheneygolf1Ай бұрын
Yes, it is favouring the lead leg/foot.

That third shot was mighty impressive off a tight lie. Any obs. On grip pressure
@robcheneygolf1Ай бұрын
Thanks. I prefer lighter grip pressure, especially for the softer, higher shots.

On the low and mid chip shots are you hitting the ball first or is or is much more of a sweeping motion using the bounce

Great one Rob!! Do you "recommend" just using one club for all shots around the green? I prefer my 54 degree I assume that would also work for all 3

Rob can you use the low shot technique that you demo’d in this video, from a greater distance (with a lower loft club) to get out from under a tree or some other low hanging hazard?

What kind of bounce do you recommended on wedges?
@robcheneygolf12 ай бұрын
Difficult to say without seeing your technique. But generally more bounce is better than less bounce.

Where are you based now Rob and will you hold any stack and tilt camps
@robcheneygolf15 ай бұрын
I’m still in Singapore. No plans for any new Camps at this time, but likely in the future. I’ll be at the Spain Camps in November later this year.

Another GREAT session Rob. I could watch it over and over to ingrain it. One thing you didn't mention was weight forward. It looks like you are decidedly left from start to finish. What say you? be good-Russ
@robcheneygolf16 ай бұрын
Yes, weight forward is STANDARD procedure! 👌🏻

Rob, would you hit the low shot more with a 7 or 8 iron, the mid with a wedge or 52/54 & the high one with a 56 or 58. Or does it even matter because that is what I did last year.
@robcheneygolf16 ай бұрын
It’s certainly an option. I don’t really like the 7 or 8 iron option as the ball speed off the face is harder to control (comes off too fast). You’ll find pros use the same wedge for 95% of their shots around the green.
