Also check Bowden tube at hot end to make sure it’s not burnt. Regular nozzle changes are critical as well. I learned all this the hard way!

@@Bananagogoyeet the Bowden tube connectors are are a two part assembly. The plastic (part#1) piece sitting on top of the metal connector (part#2. Press part #1 down against part #2. You should feel a click. Keep pressing the two parts together then pull up on the Bowden tube. It should come right out (provided that the hot end is at operating temps). Look for a burnt end on the Bowden tube. You can then check to see if the filament is binding inside the tube(makes it super easy to check if you have a knob on your extruder).

I wish I could've seen this when I was new to 3D printing, had this same problem and wasted about 9 months of time and about $70 in equipment. My logbook was a mess. I didn't even notice until the threads of the coupler were showing because of how loose it was. Man did I feel stupid then lol. Thanks for getting this tip out there, hopefully it helps people who are luckier than me 😂

I'm guessing because I replaced the nozzle when the machine was still heated up. when it cooled down it became loose because the metal contracted. Thank you for the tip my friend :-) I will make sure to double tighten when the machine cools down from now on!

I just so happened to lose that coupler during assembly but thought it would be inconsequential. My face when my first prints had stringing / feeding problems. I'm new to 3D printing so I don't exactly know where to find hardware for these printers. Mine is an Ender 3 Neo. I hope I find it soon.

If you are in the us: amazon www.amazon.com/Creality-Capricorn-Filament-Extruder-Fitting/dp/B09GM6W972/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?crid=3CQSNQ4R9JG2K&keywords=ender+3+neo+bowden+tube+coupler&qid=1693411641&sprefix=ender+3+neo+bow%2Caps%2C190&sr=8-8 this includes the couples you need and it also includes better tubing. It would cost $10 for a bunch of couplers or this so it's your choice if you feel you will loose them again. Cheers!

also, if you buy a 3d printer off someone, don't expect it to run perfectly. The print might look like crap because it needs tuning. This is normal.
