Greedent and dubwool have interesting play they will resist if gengar uses ghost and greedent double dark and dubwool can be used to take damage and has payback then swap for gengar or metagross

not so sure about your counter list from PGO hub, think the g-max/d-max attacks count for more, in other words, Blastoise should be higher on that list and probably greedent too

I’ve read that gigantamax pokemon max moves will deal a flat 100 base damage before effectiveness calculations. A Dynamax ‘strike’ by level will deal 200/250/300 meaning Gigantamax values are 300/350/400. Basically Gmax pokemon will attack at a base level with as much damage as a maxed out dynamax max move. Apologies for my yap! i hope this information provides context. To answer your question, lvl30 Gmax has higher ceiling for damage potential, but the level 50 dynamax will have more health and tank better!! hope this helps

@DB3Friedman Awesome thanks for the reply as I have a lvl 50 dynamax charizard and am not totally happy to max out another as the gmax. Just kinda wanted to weigh my options. luckily I waited to power up the other 2 starters so I will be powering the gmax forms up instead of any of the countless dynamax ones I have 🤦‍♂️ such a new system i just wanted a idea of why we would even use a dynamax poke

Yes Niantic announced this earlier this morning, they can't code it so Gigantamax Gengar doesn't have a costume LOL
