Things most don’t mention on their vids on better driving is hand position at impact and shaft lean. I’ve been read(ng about spin loft and this is one of the first I’ve seen that clearly described the hands are ahead so you hit up but not ‘flip’ which is what I’ve always done. Good vid 👍

True. I used to be very confident with driver but frustrated with poor iron play. I decided to work on delofting and hitting down on my irons and practiced for weeks/months while hardly touching driver at all. I found my irons improved 100% but my driver swing went haywire. I couldn't understand what was happening then realised I had trained to delay release so my hands are forward at impact. I'm working now to get my hands to stay level or slightly behind the ball and let the driver head release through to impact. Golf is such a difficult game but that's why we love it so much!

Ty!! This is a really good reminder of the checkpoints I need BEFORE I swing!! I am clearly teeing my ball too high. Time to hit the range this weekend before I play next week. What tips do you have on hitting the middle of the club??? Uncharted territory for me usually!! I use the foot spray and rarely see shots in (or close) to the center. 😢 P.S. I have hitting “the roof” mastered so I’m good there.

Stack snd tilt! The easiest swing to master, with good consistent ball first contact and power. Eliminates all the shifting back and forth.

Hover the driver at address and tee it up higher, best way to find the middle ive found, low single figure handicapper, your welcome😁

Many of the seniors I play with tee the ball too high, and then hit down on it.

I tee it low yet still hit high balls(maybe 80 feet+) with a 9 degree driver & the ball inside my lead heel more towards the middle of my stance. I appreciate the video but that driver sounds like it is made of plastic. 😂 My hope is an OE Ping counterbalanced shaft on my G430 max 10k will do the trick after I have taken the blame for everything else LOL
