Man United have proven they can compete and match any team when they have their 'heads screwed on' and are not chopped and changed every game... Onana was actually attacking every aerial ball that came into his box (I don't think I've seen that at all this season) and for once our defenders were facing 'away from the goal' which meant they could pick out their man and stay tight to them, apart from de Ligt's 'moment of madness' for the handball. For some reason I wasn't concerned from whistle one to the final whistle, even when Liverpool swarmed over us after their first goal... We stood firm and we 'fought-back.' Everything I want and expect from a Man United team.... 1-0 down or 2-0 up, I don't care, so long as we compete and we fight for every single ball... If you don't compete you have no chance of winning. Every team that has come to OT this season has competed from the first whistle... This is a lesson... It doesn't matter if it's Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Man City... If we compete, we have a chance, even if we go 1-0 down. Well done Man United... We love you and we really want every one of you to do well... That's why we are so passionate. Good point Tony and Kee. Bin saying it for ages. I find it hard to believe that it was a fitness problem. They just wasn't getting the correct coaching and instruction. How many seasons have we seen Bruno and others run their balls off but it was never effective. They never cut the passes out or got the tackle in. Yesterday they boxed clever and worked as a unit. A unit we haven't seen in a long while. We could have dine another 90 mins.

We espect Amorim to recruit at least 3 players in January, that should be Gyokeres, Inàcio & Hjulmand or Quenda. Martinez should be moved in midfield alongside Ugarte as Casemiro replacement! We want Rashford & Zirkzee to stay at least to the end of the season to see if they can improve on their focus, fitness & sharpness Gernacho's replacements should be Doue & Nune Mendes! Zirkzee potentially world class striker but not prepared to bust a gut for the club showed those signs to the fan base that turn against him against Newcastle. Attitude has to change from him if he wants to survive & succeed at the club. Zirkzee approach in the Liverpool game was a lot better but his speed & sharpness has to improve a lot more cos he's carrying to much weight!

Amorim is getting these players working and what a battling performance, considering our differing situations at present. INEOS need to back our manager, a goalscorer is key as we start playing in line with Amorim's tactics. I think he can revitalise younger players like Garnacho, who has been caught up in the Rashford saga and received over the top criticism. So many stars yesterday, if only big Harry had stuck in that third 😂

Great take on hojlund and our strikers including talk of osimhen. To start off Hojlund had 1 shot on a tight angle that their keeper had covered no matter where he put it and thats fine Allison is a top notch keeper. I think our service and creation for our strikers has been very poor for years now and the number of chances and shots that they get is bottom 3 in the league every year go look if ya don’t believe me. Furthermore i worry that if we spend money on a big striker they will not get the numbers people think they should because of the lack of volume of chances the TEAM create for them. The simple question is how many shots do our strikers even get per game compared to the rest of our league? Answer that after you look and you will see no #9 will be successful at united until they get 2-4 shots a game and that is never happening now or for years.

Mental attitudes are changing. Fans now need change their Mental Attitudes and stop scapegoating player's and team. Amorim changed tactics tightening the Midfield and piling defenders in when Liverpool were on attack. This squad will not need as many reiforcements as everyone is expecting. Hannibal would have been perfect for Amorim. Injuries are Uniteds biggest hurdle.
