Investing is not trading and has a vastly different goal, like trading, when done well, is about taking measured risks for discrete periods of time at sufficient volume as to generate profits, and typically involves wild swings in profitability. Investing is about minimizing risk to generate wealth over the long term, not generating short-term profits.

Your totally right about everything! I’m glad you confirmed a lot of things in my mind. There is one question I have though that confuses some of what your saying. What about traders like Jeff Benson who trade and forget about there trades ? He scales in most of his capital and now is living ‘the dream’ life style. I dont see the significance of level 2. I dont see the confluence of it has in price action or rather when to determine a buy. I need to see an example of a good buy on the level 2 and a bad one. So, I can see an example. Risk/Reward. Is this measured based on supply & demand zones? Like buying at a good suppy zone, where the demand zone is $2 away based on the price action?

Recently I started tracking and journaling my trades AND my psyche, what I noticed was that fact that my psyche score deteriorates over the long run and that makes me very loose and begin to break more and more rules even though I make money. however at the worst day I can be, I lose my accounts on it. how can I maintain a good psychological state for trading over a long period of time?

50% win rate or less using footprint charts & other order flow tools should be concerning Should be 60% at minimum otherwise the trader has a lot to fix

This is not true. When scalping and getting precise entries, your win rate can be much lower because your risk reward will be much higher

@@carmine_rosato 🤔 If going for a 1 to 1 or having a higher risk vs reward it should be easy using order flow tools to have a 60%+ win rate, actually it would be a necessity if risk is higher than the reward Makes no sense how 1 to 2 at minimum is parroted among many traders Traders out there profitable with 1 to 1 or even less Probability, win rate, & RR are intertwined. One can influence their win rate directly with the RR they choose, of course messing with any of these affects the others Just depends on the trader I suppose, some are cool with a 50% or lower win rate & others are not
