Everytime I’m having trouble with a concept or just having troubles with my trades eventually I find a video on KZbin a couple days or a week later explaining and reiterating the exact same scenario I’m dealing with an I don’t believe in coincidences, much appreciated for the time you put in these videos fam , you never know who needs em ✊🏿

Wow your timing is amazing. I really needed that today. I have had a rough month because I have been not letting the trades play out like you said. Buying and selling to quick. Thank you so much.

This is one of the best videos on trading psychology I have come across. The perspective on your trade is so important. Not focusing on risk and focusing on process is so important. To use a baseball analogy, the best hitters strike out most of the time, so taking a stop loss is just part of the business.

It works, i try to hide my P/L today, i feel less stress and less worry because I didn’t see my profit and loss going up and going down. This makes me stick on my plan. Thank you for the video

Another great video Carm. It’s so true. Just this week I was in a trade where I kept moving my SL, thinking the trade was gonna go my way any minute, only to get stopped out for a bigger loss than I had planned for and the market to move the way I predicted. Had a taken a smaller loss sooner, I could have re-analysed the market and re-entered the trade at a better price and covered this loss. Keep up the great content bro. 👍🏼

Excellent video! My only critique is in the example you gave, you didn't specify what the plan was. I think some will interpret this as a "just keep holding until you are green" strategy which I'm sure is not what you intended. I know later you go into more detail about the strategy but it would have been nice to give some parameters for the example trade itself. Still a great video!

Thanks for the video. Managing risk better and staying away from FOMO trades made me green on day today with less stress (albeit for a small amount of actual cash) but 45% in about 10 minutes taking profits quickly isn't bad for a 1:5 initial risk reward! Coming down from top of supply zone buying SPY puts and risking HOD + a few cents more was more fun than sweating it out on some chop zone trade that I'd normally take but now avoiding as I've been chopped up enough already :-)

For the trader, losing is the cost of doing business. The sooner we can accept this, the better off we will be mentally. I think learning to lose is one of the most vital things for a trader to develop. Brilliant video!! ✅👏👏👏

I dislike taking options on SPY too early but guilty of doing it all the time. All it does is chop up and almost impossible to feel which direction it's headed.

Trade spxs or spxl instead. You can actually set a solid stop loss. You won’t make crazy returns but it is much much more manageable and less stressful.

I like your strategy, but every day we have POTUS tweets, Fed commentary, and economic data that could very well be the reason for random spikes and dips. Leaving these forces out of the discussion seems to ignore the most likely reason for these moves
@patricke86274 жыл бұрын
Lol bro. It’s not even this. It’s just people don’t trade with enough money. So one losing trade would devastate their financial state. It’s all a game of capital
@archisne11 ай бұрын
I agree, but a point to note is that if you cannot manage or protect a small capital then how can you trust yourself to manage a large capital ? The disadvantage of a small capital is that the brokerage, taxes and charges eat up into the profit. Rules, defined loss for the day and discipline has to be applied, practiced and mastered.

I came into trading with a strategy, plan, all that because of how I learned from people on KZbin. My fear was actually developed with a losing streak that went on for weeks to months. So, this is good in theory, is useful, and does work to help some people address their fears, but what worked for me was redirecting my internal reward system. Instead of giving my emotions to how much money was gained or loss, I worked to shift that energy to how well I followed my system. For example, if I have a nice win from breaking my rules, I'll get less excited about that than if I take a loss but followed my plan to perfection. Rather I follow my plan or not is 100% in my control, so now I can trade fearlessly because my emotions are not tied to what the market is doing, at all. I didn't become without emotions, like a robot. I shifted my emotional energy to what I have complete control over.
