In this video I'm installing a cam eliminator kit that I got from 333 Fabrications which is supposed to lock in your alignment.
It's recommended to have adjustable upper control arms with this kit.

Key point to note is that the SPC adjustable UCA corrects both caster and camber so locking the LCA bolts works with that setup

I’ve seen steering racks skip teeth with the cam elimators. But since you have the spc’s. If you hit something hard enough, the upper ball joint will slide. But typically I’d rather have an adjuster spin and pay for an alignment, then bend the frame or suspension. Great video tho!

So when you are trying plates to see which ones will give you perfect alignment you have to take the rack loose. reassemble and hope it's the right one? The guys at the alignment shop are going to love you!

No you just loosen the cam bolt and spin the plate You only need to loosen the rack if you're taking the bolts completely out

No body lift, just suspension

Cam eliminators only adjust Caster so you would still need an alignment for tow and camber, so title is false. Clean ass build tho

why on earth would you put the new bolts back in the same way as the old adjuster bolt? It doesnt matter which way the bolt goes! Put it in front the opposite side of the rack !

wait WHAT at @7:58 you did not need to remove steering rack, The bolt slides to the front of the car. did this guy just have a brain fart removing a bolt?? someone enlighten or confirm w me please.

I didn't remove the steering rack. But I had to remove the steering rack bolts in order to push the rack up just so I could get the cam bolts out. Let me know if that makes sense

Wait wtf, you went through all that trouble with your steering rack only to put the new bolt in the same way? Why do you hate yourself? Also it's very possible that your alignment was better before you installed the cam eliminator. Cams give you much more adjustability as opposed to the three positions of the square cams.
