Many pros joke about meeting up at Planet Fitness, almost all of them workout during the season. I'm sure Ezra works out more than the normal Pro. He also has leaned down quite a bit.

Look into plyometrics, that'll help

Your new form clip showed a much better set point. It is nice and low so you swing up through the "twirly bird". I have a naturally high set point as well and need to feel like I am pointing the disc to the ground or I do the same as your old form. It is a tough correction I still need to overcorrect for.

Periodization is ideal for athletic improvement, but josh is certainly trying to simplify the process with his explanation and the details (periods and order) aren't as important as the fundamental process of continuous improvement while allowing for recovery.

You should do a video of exactly what you are doing for weight training

instead of 36-54 holes a day play 18 but throw 3 discs every time. Boom, now you threw 3xs as much in half the time or less. Now you have more time to do something else.

You may already be doing this but I recommend investing in whey protein and creatine monohydrate. It can be really hard to meet your protein macros each day (around 1g per centimeter in height) when you are trying to build muscle so the whey protein can easily cover like 50g of protein with 2 scoops, and its cheaper than chicken. There is a lot of evidence that supports creatine monohydrate allowing you to lift around 10% heavier which may speed up the process for you somewhat. Of course you should do your own research regarding any potential downsides or health impacts.

It's actually 0.7-1 gram per pound of body weight in LBS. Also creatine is pointless unless you're trying to put on size and strength which would be counterintuitive to playing disc golf. The heavier you lift and the bigger you grow = less flexibility and slower you become. Just drink 8oz of water every hour (more is active) and you will stay hydrated enough to aid in muscle recovery without any trash supplement.

Dont do whey, crazy low absorption rate. Meat proteins or veggie proteins

A licensed athletic trainer should not be giving you a workout routine. Potentially a personal trainer?
@InjuryPreventionGuy2 жыл бұрын
That’s a very general statement with no context of what that Athletic Trainer (me) has done. I am very well trained and equipped to give out a workout plan that is focusing on Injury Prevention.
