Maybe the best golf swing training KZbin ever. This would solve most amateur swing issues.

This is excellent (5 stars). Going way back we were told “quiet trail shoulder”In reality we need to move the trail shoukder correctly. Everything discussed is so Important! Instead of this we normally hear a lot about coming from the inside. If you follow this I can’t see how you can come over the top.

Great ideas as I think this is one of my major problems.....but too many things to consider; give me one thought to get that shoulder down. Knees over toes, bend outwards, hips moving back, club butt down target line, side bend--these should all be the result of a move not all the things you have to think of and do. Maybe the stick drill gets it all working right.

Q: Thanks for the video. Does this also apply to the driver? Is there "side bend" with the driver like with irons? Maybe less side bend with the driver? Thanks.
@johnmclean52732 жыл бұрын
This is a great thought. The Hall of Fame teacher Chuck Cook always said Right shoulder to the wall (behind you), Right shoulder to the ball, then to the target. How would you alter this for the driver?

Quentin, you were saying to work on it for 30 minutes every day, so is that about 100 reps. This is critical because that is a lot of reps. At first, It may cause some soreness in the right elbow and wrist due to holding firm through impact. I would think the reps need to be built up over time. This looks quite similar to a punch shot where the hands don't pass the club or even a greenside chip shot. A strike and hold action. Correct? I also notice that you are basically holding the face square, right through to the abbreviated finish, with little right hand rotation on this drill.

What part of downswing you shift weight forward as you go down with shoulder and knees?
@bobmcglone6676 Жыл бұрын
Will this hurt your back? It seems the side bend is hard on the spine? It appears that the ball then the turf is hit compressing the ball and getting solid impact!
