Just absolutely love this human! Love his humor and his being so much. TY Lewis for interviewing Sadhguru. 🙏 This is the message so needed rn. Love how he addressed that there is so much to be angry about, so much injustice, but being angry, while it can motivate and propel us, is so damaging, so exhausting. We will wear out living that way. Then it creates more lethargy - and a vicious circle. Action from love is the way. ❤ Also, always, always love Dr. Joe. 😊 Enjoyed the other guests as well.

I can’t understand how I can be emotionally stable and need to set boundaries. I do understand that if I can’t handle things I might need boundaries to protect my stability. The question I ask is this: If I need people to behave and speak a certain way in order for me to be stable isn’t that conditional and false stability? Or is stability the ability to be around anyone, that poses no physical danger, and be ok? I grew up in a toxic environment and my father was and still is verbally abusive. But I still wanted to be able to have a relationship with him. While I tried to do this while I was not emotionally stable enough, it actually made our relationship worse. So I decided to take a break from him to shore up my emotional stability. Now I can be around him without any difficulties or boundaries. I just do what’s needed in each moment if required. Boundaries are only necessary if we aren’t stable enough in a particular area. I love that I can be there for my father as he ages and needs support in spite of his harsh words. My stability and intelligence let’s me know his poor behavior is hurting him, and need not hurt me. So please let’s be honest. We can’t have a high level of emotional stability and need boundaries to protect them. If we need boundaries it’s a sign we need more work.

The way I dealt with my childhood sexual abuse a few years ago when I decided to not let it keep me going down the road of unhappiness depression and not wanting to be here in this world I decided to forgive my step father for the abuse because i was not going to let him take the rest of my life and carry on being his victim yes what he did was wrong and o did not deserve that to happen at the age of 10 but I let him go I jet that abuse go he had died about 25yrs agp so I took some flowers to the grave yard and I just left flowers and said I’m releasing you from my mind and the abuse you did to me I forgive you and you will not hold me to be your victim anymore ❤

@@AnastasiaBeaverhousen thank you for over 40yrs I carried that around and made it spoil my life with not wanting to be in this world always hoping I would go to bed one day and not wake up because of what he did then I ended up rock bottom in hospital with trying to take my own life I said to myself enough is enough no more and that was 3yrs ago and I’ve been working on myself ever since don’t get me wrong it’s bloody hard work and some days I think I’d be better off the old me because then I knew who I was 100% and what I was doing in my life ( being miserable) but no I won’t let it take over the second part of my life I keep fighting and moving forwards with most things I do I find boundaries and self worth the hardest but I try lots of different things to keep that strong ❤️

I thought I really believed this being healthy shouldn't make you psychologicaly miserable but what gives and it's true because it uncle helped me really understand that getting it and you know doesn't matter its what you do. And I do get it but you can get stuck, and that's normal to happen, but never getting out of it and living at that level is not the same and I know it from brief experience, I know.

I've never understood how anyone can forgive their abuser. Forgive yourself for not knowing how to handle the situation, for not yet knowing that you shouldn't trust that person, forgive the adults maybe who weren't supervising the way they probably should have, but how can you forgive such an Evil act? Maybe I'm not as strong mentally as some others but it just doesn't make any cognitive sense to me at all. You can't forgive evil, at least I can't.

I thought it was kind of funny that the guru asked the questioner what he would think of him if he put his hand up and moved it funkily and the next clip was of Jordan Peterson holding his hand up and moving it funkily. I was looking forward to the other 15 kinds of intelligence, and when I saw Jordan's hand I thought maybe it isn't coming.

Yes , it is hard because of how we are programmed from childhood . If you recognize that you are becoming angry you can redirect your thoughts . Baby steps first , it gets easier eventually. That is the short answer

Yes it is and sometimes it can be our ego wanting to say this isn’t my fault this isn’t me doing this but it is I try to find a reason behind why I’m feeling like this or why the person is being so nasty it’s usually because they have issues with themselves and not us so just say to yourself this isn’t my problem I will not get angry over something I can not change ❤
