@@stephaniecolburnsometimes the proper amount of time isn’t booked, best to have a consult and let the stylist book the time they need vs talking to a receptionist and having them schedule it. It’s easily a 5 hour appt for something like that and lots of $$$ compared to basic highlights

@@rbb7040not more than 3 levels. As close to the natural level as you can while giving what they want. I’m a level 4, I look best when I smudge with a 7NA, because I like my hair very blonde/summery. 8 and 9 are too far away from my natural to blend the root

I would be furious to go to a salon and leave with roots. I understand some stylist think it shouldn't be on the scalp, some people think it's a style. To me it looks like your hair is beyond dirty and stained like little white dogs with tear stains. I love the color of the length though, it's beautiful.

People here making rude comments are the ones that know absolutely nothing about the beauty of this hair. You don’t understand what it takes and what goes into getting this. I would let her do my hair anyway she wants. She knows what she is doing, no banding, no hotspots, it’s blended evenly and what most of you don’t understand that a lot of stylist do not use a permanent darker toner for the root smudge/melt whichever you get (at least around here they haven’t), so while she might look slightly gray, when she washes it a couple of times, it will start to fade. She could have been platinum and washed with purple shampoo and ended up with this. Mine has. I had to wash again. Regardless I know to each their own, but you have to give credit where it’s due and she did the damn thing here. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🖤🤍🖤
