Marisa Is always so accurate, I used to struggle so much with weight loss until I decided to unsubscribe from all the food eating ASMR channels. Now I don’t even crave sugar and carbs and I also lost3kg in 2 weeks.. I’m not saying ASMR was responsible for my weight , but it did contribute to most of my cravings. I Can say it also helped me use my screen time wisely . I now focus on channels that inspire me to be better, like this one ❤️

I put this to the test today. I had one chocolate treat and left the bag nearby. As soon as my brain wanted another treat, I imagined it covered in oozing putrid liquid, seeping from under blue/green mould. Worked brilliantly! Bag of treats safely and easily back in cupboard... I wonder if I’ll actually want to eat even 1 tomorrow! 😁👍

We Indians follow three types of lifestyles along with food - Satvik, Rajashik and Tamashik. Satvik - refers to fresh foods, veggies and fruits, staple items Rajashik - heavier foods like meat, fish or junk foods, sweets, foods that kings used to have in the ancient times Tamashik - stale foods Thank you Ma'm. So true.. Years and years ago, I saw these wormy Gummy candy .. I am phobic about worms so I could NEVER EVER eat one... I also can't eat those fat noodles because they look like worms.. LOL..

That is an age-old prophecy about eating your feelings. I eat because I just love it and that's it! Chocolate cake,Pizza, double cheeseburgers, I don't eat it because of my feelings I eat it because I want to. Even though I know I shouldn't,that's my struggle. Not to do something that I desperately want to. I'm not eating my feelings.

For me the food isn’t the problem, I eat very fresh, whole foods. But my problem is quantity. I eat food until I’m sick. Any suggestion to help with stopping binges?

I used to love jelly beans/gums and I stopped eating them exactly because of what they're made of. I don't eat gelatine of animal origin anymore. Unfortunately, I can't seem to stop eating sugar.

I was able to kick sugar after watching “That sugar film”. I quickly lost 8 kg from around my waist. Now even looking at a bowl of white rice makes me ill, Because I know it’s just a pile of sugar

Sliced cheese Kraft cheese slices= plastic cheese, or "forever cheese" because it's loaded with chemicals we might as well be eating plastic, and it lasts forever and food that doesn't expire is generally very unhealthy.

Thanks Marisa for this video! It's amazing how we picture food in our minds and think that we will feel happier and satisfied .... That happens to me when I am having an anxiety moment and see a gigantic piece of apple strudel and eat it all desperately. after that I face remorse and feel so bad about gaining weight and no longer looking as I used a year ago :( ... I am determining now, that I will work on picturing those foods in blue color or smelling terrible ... Thanks again for opening my eyes Marisa ...

@@Victoria_Watts89 oh my God I have literally changed so much since then. The only reason I did things like this is because I had serious binge eating problems and was restricting myself so much. Now I will literally eat as much chocolate as I want and give myself unconditional permission to eat. And also when I tried that before it didn't really work for me.

Very very helpful cant agree on cows milk though. Milk has been part of our diet for 6000 years. The fact it comes from other animal does not change its benefits. And yes there is a gigantic difference between rat milk and cow milk :DDD

Sunny delight is basically sugar water. Give some of your examples in the comments of how you are changing the picture in your mind in order to get healthy!

cendril2 I poured cereal into a bowl once and a spider crawled out of the box into the bowl. I always think about that whenever there is a boxed food, I can’t see what’s in the bottom, could be a bug or a hair or something icky at the bottom; that always deters me from eating it! Maybe that will help you.
