I use too do the same until i met my fiance. He drains the tank, pushes primer bulb until carb is dry and drains any remaining mix. Then puts 2 cycle oil directly into the tank, pushes primer so oil can flow into carb and out overflow back into the tank. So carburetor gaskets will remain flexible during storage. Spring time he drains oil into gas can and makes the mix for the year, then repeat for winter. Kind of long sorry, but hope it helps!

What's up, Fellaaaa! Hey, Tony! I do that with my summer equipment in the winter and my winter equipment in the summer. I think it's important to do that with any equipment in any season. The one I neglect is my chainsaw! I keep it in it's case under my bench and I need to store it where it's more visible so I can start it on the regular. Thanks for another great video! God bless.

Heard nothing but great things from people about that. Now can you put that in there after Winter also or is just for when your equipment is sitting for the cold months?

Sta-bil sits on top of the gasoline, it will not mix in. So if you move the can or equipment around you are exposing the gas too the air and moisture which defeats the use of sta-bil. Just so you know, learned my lesson the hard way.
