What's up, Fellaaaa! Nice work, Tony! it's always good to know how to work on your own equipment or even your own vehicles. Manufacturers are making more an more difficult to maintain your own things just to make a buck when you HAVE TO bring it to the shop. It's criminal! Thanks for the tutorial. Very well done! Have a great day! God bless.

When I lived in Florida the deck hardly ever got grass stuck in it. But the sandy soil is murder on the blades, totally eats them up. Here in Missouri well that's a different story, i get a lot stuck underneath. I have 2 old hacksaw blades i use for scraping, they are about 1 1/2 wide with no teeth on them. I got them from work way before I retired. I also run Gator blades, i find they cut better. I have a Gravelly commercial zero turn since 2014 great mower. Wanted a Scag but was talked out of.

@@jakeschisler7525 I can imagine what sand does to blades. I seen people’s videos on that, eats them alive. I only see a handful of Scags in my area. It’s Toro, Exmark, or Ferris mainly. What's up, Fellaaaa!😆 Great video! What we should ALL do is separate wants and needs. Do I WANT that equipment or do I NEED that equipment? If you have to think about it for more than a minute, you don't need it and are trying to justify your want. We also have to think about family, ESPECIALLY if we're already working a full time job. How much more time are we taking away from our family? I made this mistake and I regret every second of it. My wife and kids (now adults) say they understood and appreciated what I was doing, but ALL time away from family matters to them. My job as a Firefighter and that work schedule afforded me a lot of opportunities to make extra money. Though my schedule was 42 per week, I was able to work construction and still run my side gig of Lettering and Pinstriping, besides working any and all overtime shifts offered to me. Wants and needs. In these HORRIBLE economic times, we have to do as much as we can to make ends meet. But we can't do it at the cost of our families. I know I'm going off on a tangent, but, do we WANT it, or do we NEED it? We have to ask ourselves that about everything! Thanks for another great video. Have a PROSPEROUS week! Be careful out there. Stay cool. God bless.

We always cut grass in the afternoon. It is still pretty juicy. You can tell by how green it is around the chute. I have three ditches to cut, and two of them drain sump pumps, which run for days after every rain. So the ditches are rarely dry. Of course, that is where the grass grows the fastest.
