have the Gold and Blue cash Preferred, Trying to get the platinum but I'm in popup jail and not eligible for the SUB with the platinum and I never had the card before

would it make sense to book a hilton property with the aspire or the platinum with resorts credit in your professional opinion

Since the FHR and the Hilton resorts credit doesn’t really overlap usually, you can do it based on availability or affordability. For instance I’m doing both this month, but it’s mostly out of necessity. Chicago has 1 hotel under the “resorts” credit that i HAVE to use because the FHR hotel that is below $200 normally in Chicago goes well above $200 during my period of availability. I will also be staying at that FHR hotel this month, but during a period when it is below $200. If the FHR hotel is a better property, which it should be, then you go with FHR. The Hilton resorts credit should be used secondarily if FHR isn’t feasible during your period of availability. FHR credits hit immediately the next day too which is nice.👍

@@sodapopcurtis7396 let me know if you have any other questions, I’m planning on getting great use out of the resorts credit in 2024. With p2, we’ll have $1200 to use for a stay between Jan-Jun then the same for Jul-Dec. we’ll do it in one go, or separate it into two goes, with at least one being somewhere in the Caribbean since I love the water there. Just have to find the plane tix at that point, likely using United hack
