Do Throttle Controllers fix BMW Pedal Lag?

I have one fitted to my Mercedes-Benz x-class w470 pickup, ❤❤and it's amazing. Throttle lag gone, and I drive it in E1 all the time. Except when I tow my Jayco Silverline caravan, then I use power mode. I highly recommend this product.😁👍

That lag isn’t a bug it’s an intentional inclusion by bmw as during that time period bmw was going throw a resection and didn’t have the funds to make a rear diff that could handle the power output off line. So the lag was implemented to help protect the rear diff

Just put 1 on my 1m a week ago. Makes a huge difference in the canyon twisties but everywhere else its just a waste of gas

'07 X5 here. I wish I found this two days ago before I ordered a controller two days ago to eliminate initial lag. 😂 So will you get a remap?

I can confirm I fixed it. I purchased this car and due to the throttle controller and the way advan had the tune setup or honestly I’m not even sure what else. The charge pipe blew off because it wasn’t tight and the way the boost built with the throttle controller was big. I then added a new GFB diverter valve, boost pipe and k and N intake and flashed the car to an OTS tune using boot mod and happy to say I haven’t had any issues since. No lag no need for a throttle controller. Also added a catch can + XHP and fitted those exhaust tips

you throttled yourself with comfort mode then bought a throttle controller, LOL!!

Sport mode changes more than just the throttle mapping and sometimes you don’t want, for example higher rpm gear changes.

You need a manual car if you want control, Auto are made for Spaznoids, manual way better no race cars have auto mong gear boxes.
