"Rockstar Made" and "On That Time" is my all time favorites from carti, both from the Whole Lotta Red album. Fun artist to get into for sure, but might not be easy to begin with 😂

This album can be too much for a first time listener it’s a very hype sound meant for concerts, his first two albums are still low on the lyrics but his sound was more psychedelic and not so much noise

Whole Lotta red (this song is from that album) was initially hated (this came out at the end of 2020) but once live shows started coming back, this album started being loved, honesty i think a ski and carti collab could go crazy, I get where you guys are coming from about this song, it is a hard first listen, carti does have some other big songs on his other albums that may help you get into him more such as Magnolia, Long Time, Location or Shoota (those are some of his biggest songs), Carti for me, at first was really repetitive and annoying, but the more I listened, I got more invested, this is one of those songs lol. carti got 3 types of songs, aggressive rap like this where u just scream the words in the shower (react to rolling loud 2023 btw it was legendary), he has chill vibe songs to play round the house or in the background then he has trap songs where he raps properly over a somewhat generic beat. People tend to like 2 of his 3 styles and not the other but there’s also a lot of people who like all of them. There’s a big carti fanbase who think WLR is the best album ever (me) then another part who like chill carti

tbh carti is an acquired taste, even his recent drops half of them i didn’t like first listen then after a few it was good.
