Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time KZbinr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. I'm not a fan of green eye shadow, but I like the Sage palette! It looks wearable, for those who do like those colors. I'm a boring person who mostly sticks to browns and taupes, including both warm and cool tones. I like to use cool browns in the winter, and warmer browns in the summer. It's amazing to me, when I compare my browns side by side, that some of them are pinker, some are purpler, some are grayer, etc.

The Child has been so popular. I'm not surprised they are continuing on with a similar palette. From the look of your swatches, I like Sage the Day even better than The Child. I'll definitely be purchasing this one.

The Petals En Pointe palette is so pretty for spring and those square 9 pan palettes are my fav size (not too big, not too small). Also great job on vlogmas ~ I'm sure it's not easy to come up with content, film, edit, post etc, but you did it !! And all videos were a joy to watch.

I was so excited when I saw these palettes and now I’m even more excited! I wanted the Natasha Denona Retroglam palette so badly but didn’t want to spend that much. I feel so calm watching your videos, particularly because you don't do sponsorships. I can't tell you how much I appreciate not having an ad read shoved down my throat for 2 minutes every video (especially for the same service multiple times). I know it's money you leave on the table and that it's not a decision many others make.
