I’ve been thankfully unfazed by most beauty brand releases this season. Because more on lippies and skin lately. I haven’t seen much great releases on the eye makeup. Sticking to my low buy. I only bought 2pcs eyeliner cause I’m an aggressive eyeliner user. If meron na brush collections ni mama anne and Michelle dy set would happy skin and grwm brushes still be a good buy? Please review fairy skin tinted sunscreen!

Me too! I'm glad na you know what you only need and sticking to you low-buy with determination. Keep it up. Ako naman, I don't meet blush releases with the same enthusiasm before. Issy & Co will be releasing an eyeshadow palette so excited for that one. I cannot answer your question regarding brushes kasi that would depend on you. Siguro, ask yourself: how often do I put on makeup? what brushes do I always use? how often do I clean my brushes? how many of these brushes in teh set do I actually use?

that's okay to wait it out, proud of you. for me, rule ko when buying is if the pull is strong parin after a month or so, that's when I know it's worth considering to purchase ulit based on my circumstance. if nakalimutan ko na, then baka di ko talaga want, napadala lang sa hype ganern.

I’ve been meaning to upgrade my brush collection bc I want to learn how to use them since I’m so dependent on sponges, so I was sooooo conflicted sa brush releases!! Both are slightly out of budget but I keep considering a purchase since it’s an investment. I was originally planning to get some from OVW but I keep seeing the Happy Skin collab & felt even more distressed kasi I love the travel bag 🫣 So I felt so reassured when you compared brushes from your own collection & how you maximized their use. Can I please ask for the names of the OVW brushes you used here po if it’s not too much? 💗

Girl same tayo, after seeing the happy skin x marj brush collection, it makes me want it more. I have to keep on reminding myself na di ko kailngan lahat and meron pa naman akong brushes hehe 😜 Trying a couple of brushes from a set or individually na within the budget is a good way to know what shapes you like lalo na you're just getting into them. The list of OVW brushes I have are listed sa haul video ko! In the video I also elaborated the purpose of each brush sa collection ko and why I got them. I have updated the description box 😅

the only thing making me want to buy the marj x happy skin brushes is the fact that it's pink omg even though i already have similar brushes from OVW huhu 😭😭 so glad to see this video to stop my impulsivity, this was gonna break my no-buy 😆

I follow this one esthetician where she invented the same concept or more like yun siguro yung reference about the reusable eye patch from Saipo. She explained that you apply the eye cream and the reusable patch on top and let it marinate, not sure kung yun yung term, that person is Charlotte Parler.

Ohhh! Thanks Ayrene for this! I had an inkling of what it's suppose to do during filming but I wasn't sure. After filming this, I researched more about the reusable eyepatch. Most of the "studies" or "explanation of its purpose came from the brands that sell similar goods. Sabi nila it's suppose to help in absorbency by making the actives closer to the skin?? Along those lines ahhaa. Couldn't find individual studies on this yet. Will check her out 😊

mas maraming murang brushes outside the release good quality pa din yung og gladking brushes very tipid friendly, and also true yung mga magugulong claims ng fairyskn sa tinted sunscreen nila matte and dewy? im like ha?? 😭 its good na we need to be aware sa claims 💖

Same sentiments with color adapting products in general a hit or miss that the "adapting" aspect does not appeal to me anymore since its just giving merthiolate vibes xd. Its not a really flattering universal shade for all skin complexion huhu. Before rin kasi happy skin has already released the same concept of product back from their fresh dew collection ata IIRC. These batch of releases I would say, the brushes just the foundation or buffing brush lang is something I would really get a lot of use off with if I do have the budget to spare in the future. The others are just so-so IMO noticed rin that lip oils are really becoming trendy in the filipino market and wouldn't be surprised if other brands decide to push towards that route as well haha

Yeah, the color adapting is so meh to me. Ayoko na subukan somehow kasi I know what to expect? kinda repetitive. Their sister brand did release something like that before so.... bakit? for brushes I would rather get more cheek brushe sand stuff for the eyes like teeny tiny ones. Ayyy yang lip oil vs lip gloss sa totoo lang the lines between the two products are so funny. May lip glosses na parang lip oil and then may lip oil na parang lip gloss. it's so confusing, I default both these products in the same category na lang to simplify. Unless may clear distinction then I would reconsider kung need ko ba both u know? AHHAH
