What does it mean when preachers or social media actors claim that we, as Christians, "win down here"?

be of good cheer! i have overcome the world.--- in christ we are continual winners. the devil doesn't attack us because we are weak, but because we are a threat to his kingdom. he can't take us down, but he can wear us out, for awhile. be strong in the lord and the power of his might. things are not always what they appear. (just came thru battling demons). there is always a well in the midst of the fire. drink from it and live. and they overcame by the blood of the lamb and the Word of their testimony. the gospel is not chained. cheers!
