Held the door for a woman the other day, only to get a "I can do that myself" in return. Later that same day I held the door for a delivery guy in a appartement building, and he gave me a "thanks" and a fistbump on the way out. I'm happy to be a part of MGTOW these days.

Chivalry is not dead. I'm still chivalrous to my wife. She doesn't expect it, but she definitely appreciates it.

not anymore, I was raised to be that way - but in my 52 years on this earth, I have paid the price too many times by "independant" women yelling at me or trying to shame me for being a gentleman. Im done

That's where you're wrong Nick. Chivalry is dead and women killed it, I for one am happy about it. You see guys like me are invisible to women until they need help or protection. If I'm not good enough to date or marry, I'm not stupid enough to inconvenience myself to help them.

Chivalry isn’t dead, and as long a real men are alive, it will not die. Any man who fails to understand that he should treat all people with respect, curtiousness, and when required protection has forgotten one of his most basic responcibilities.

I think all people should treat each other with respect. The problem when 1 gender (women) think they deserve more and other gender (men) have more obligation, at least accept that is choice to practice it or not and receive it or not, but who are you to demanding.
