yeah i think firebats deck was faster, while zalaes was a bit greedy. but hey, both are pretty strong but also hard decks which can go a long distance (without losing too much "value") when being played with correctly

No, I think he actually considered it. If it was a nuts card he wouldn't hesitate to craft it. Unlike someone like me he would disenchant something that became trash or craft something that he thought was sleeper. It does make for a more entertaining video to see it your way, though.

Thoughts from laddering to legend this season: I think people will realise Priest is king when the nerfs happen. Galakrond Priest feels the stronger deck because you can run 2 of's of the defensive cards that keep you alive, and if you survive against most classes you win anyway because the Galakrond hero power is broken. I ran a very defensive Galakrond version with 2 oozes and taunts because ladder is full of tempo decks. You don't need the value from Harrison, most of the time later on your hand is clogged with garbo randomly generated stuff from Sethekk/Galakrond anyway. In Highlander I ran Bone Wraith/Convincing Infiltrator and Khartoum defender (the only Priest legendary I have is Murozand + Soul Mirror). I even had Radiance. It doesn't really matter what you have in your deck in the mirror because it depends 1. Who gets the Galakrond engine going first 2. Who gets the better random cards. Renew and Thoughtsteal are both ridiculous. Apotheosis is strong as hell, makes it so easy to stabilise and works with wild pyro. Honestly, if you don't die, you win. The only reason I stopped playing it is because matches against Druid and especially the Priest mirrors are so UTTERLY UNFUN. Incredibly long, boring matches decided entirely on randomly generated cards. Take this all with a grain of salt as Priest is my least favourite class by far. I'm legend now and won't be playing Priest again for a while.

I play regular Galakrond priest and don't struggle with rogue warrior demon Hunter or Hunter I'm stuck on diamond 1 because of druid and the mirror being all about who has Galakrond longer most of the time I always out heal the Hunter damage and vs warrior it's super easy to just run them out of stuff and play to fatigue since they draw so many cards just save your removals and stay above like 15. Demon Hunter is also not as bad as long as u don't draw a hand full of dead cards to start the game like a hand of Nova's and breaths and like shield of Galakrond

the priest decks this expansion have been really exciting to play for me, DESPITE feeling like the class was crippled by a complete disembowelment of its draw cards, face damaging spells and minions, and much of the utility of the previous Year of the Raven cards. I think the match-up that has surprised me the most as a favorable is the steal/galakrond priest vs. Embiggen Druid. Soul Mirror, renews into Shadow Word: Ruin, and thought-stealing out their big cards/playing their ramp before they can and capitalizing on cards like Aeon Reaver and the gala battlecry to swallow some of the untargetable minions has left me undefeated against druids. (and, when i've delved into embiggen druid myself, any gala priest i've faced has schooled me to the same chorus)
