You have a point. But I find it hard to believe a book translated and rewritten by man for 2,000 years. And then have a secret meeting in 1600's about removing books from the Bible because it didn't fit with the agenda. Now by me saying that, I do however believe in creation. I do believe there is something that can not be explained. We are too young of a species to begin to understand how we became. There’s no definitive answer, it’s a philosophical debate. In this argument he’s essentially saying that unlike modern abrahamic religions, ancient Greeks weren’t stupid enough to believe their mythology was real. It was stories and practice and ritual, which had meaning to them and was important.

Quite the contrary, if someone does look scruffy and unkempt, it is most likely a sign of their intellectual superiority. @@hachira I’ve seen Zizek expound a lava of thoughts. Richard Grannon is great follower of Zizek but still managed to pull off a parody skit about Slavoj. Zizek is respected but attracts the comedic streak because he is too much of a character. Einy is sweet too, even as his theories fall apart now, replaced by new ways of seeing and understanding our reality scape. 😛
