I appreciate this SO much! Shawn called me out by my first and middle name in September of 2019. He gave me one of the most encouraging words I have ever received. I had a family member tell me that Shawn researches people who come to this mtgs. To be honest, I was effected by their negativity for a few days. But Jesus reminded me of Shawns heart and that he is not weird; and by that I mean he has fathers and mothers in the spirit. So he is submitted and not a weirdo off on his own. Thank you SO much, Shawn, for being willing to step out like you do 😊

This is so good! I remember when I started to tell my dad just a LITTLE information that I am a dreamer and he almost had a panic attack. It was heartbreaking to me that he doesn't believe that this is from God and that "it's evil"...... but I ran to Daddy God. He comforted me and reminded me how of how He sees me and what He is calling me to. When I embrace and focus on what He sees in me and what He's calling me to, it refreshes me and really ministers to me..... deeply. My Daddy God is so very proud of me! Just as He is so very proud of all who embrace His Love and become that representation of His Heartbeat! With Him, we can do all things! Phil 4:13♡

Thank you, brother!! This was fresh air to me. The criticism has mounted as I stepped out of a Cessation Church (and I LOVE them and even still preach in some of them, I respect their walk with Jesus) but man o man each year it has heated up as Prophetic words flowed and then as miracles started happening. THEN, we had an open door to preach a Crusade in Central India. God poured out and miracles popped out like popcorn, which caused about 10,000 to make decisions for Jesus. One guy flew back off of his feet and his head hit the platform we were standing on like WWF. He woke up three minutes later screaming, "it's gone, I can see." I had no idea he had a tumor on the back of his head, I just heard, "Lay hands and pray his head is healed, almost sounded like his "brain, will be healed." So, I did. I barely touched his forehead and something knocked his feet out like a football tackle front way, and his head hit. When he shared his testimony the tumor was gone! He was almost blind, the last seven years. Fast forward to this Christmas at home with the family. My entire family and I have been super close for nearly 46 years. They did NOT even want me in their home. I'm just dumbfounded. Feel like I lost my mom and dad who wanted me to be a Billy Graham. I told them I did not ask God for these things, I begged God to give this to someone else, just let me preach salvation. Thousands at the crusade reported, "a dove landed on my head as you were preaching and I spoke in tongues." Just to be honest, I tried to hide it Sean. Feel a giant hole in my heart, I LOVE my mom and dad. Please pray for me, my heart is truly hurting, my parents, family and ministry supporters think I have gone crazy! But I can't deny what I have seen, and felt, and heard. We lost over 50% of our supporters. So, do I get a job? Should I go back to Higher Education as a dorm director? I cannot and will not go back from the gifts God has given, they are gifts. They are not more important for Jesus, but they are FROM HIM, and He is giving crazy levels of favor with India government! I could feel hate from a few fam members. Just hurt. Thank you Sean. I hope to meet you for coffee sometime, just a 15-minute cup. Please pray for us!!!

I became bitter towards those who rejected me for the things I did under the leading of the Holy Spirit, and it reached a point where I sought counseling from a teacher of the word. He said that I should focus on what God says about me, and that people will always speak against you no matter what you do. I took time to forgive them, and all this happened yesterday To see you post this video shows me that God is still on my case. This has encouraged me to pursue God and my call to ministry despite what people say.

Thank-you for addressing this. I have been personally vilified by people who took the wrong way, one innocuous comment I’ve made on a subject they feel over the top about. It hurts to be misunderstood then attacked over it, but helps to remember that I don’t know these folks and their opinions don’t matter to me. Ignore it and rise above is a good strategy.

I was travelling in a car with a pastor, when I heard a loud noise on his left front tire, it sounded like a blowout. I asked the pastor immediately if he heard the noise, and I told him at least 3 times I HEARD something like a blowout and if he did not mind to stop the car. He assured me that he had full control of the steering wheel and no such thing happened. Just 3 days later, I was in the car with him again and his wife and 2 kids and there was a blowout in the left front wheel. When we came to a stop, I looked at him in the eye, and saw that he was surprised. That left front tire was retreaded, which means he took a tire that was worn, and retreaded it, instead of buying a new tire. A member from his church did the job for him, which resulted in that. The threads came loose and slapped the body work, and the same noise I heard 3 days before occurred. To this day I realised that the Lord not only gave him ample warning about a tire that would malfunction, but he also protected his family and myself, from that severe incident. Blessed be the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

I was just sharing with the Sunday school class my husband and I teach your testimony where in a meeting you missed every single word that night. Afterwards a lady approached you frustrated because she was sure you were a fraud but you proved her wrong by missing everything 😆 We were doing an activation exercise to practice words of knowledge and prophecy and listening to holy spirit. 2 of them were total God moments, the rest guessed or felt blocked but they were so happy and encouraged when I shared your testimony. I also told them how a year later that same list of words you wrote down that missed were right on in another meeting including a word about a child that wasn’t even conceived yet when you first “missed” it. It’s a powerful reminder God uses even our misses for His glory! Bless you Shawn

First of all, we as Christians have to believe that God is All-knowing and is specific when He speaks, otherwise, we wouldn’t believe in Words of knowledge. Also, when we start to try to prove ourselves to man, we become man-pleasers instead of God-pleasers. I think one of the main distinctions between King David and King Saul was that Saul was more concerned about what men said and thought about him, but David was more concerned about what God said and thought about him. Thank you Shawn for this, it will help me tremendously as I pursue the prophetic. I’m looking forward to coming to your event in CT.
@shanebekker71145 жыл бұрын
Absolutely brilliantly said Shawn!!!! I found that if we start simple and trust the Holy Spirit, and be prepared to fail, but fail forward and see it as a learning curve, we can continue to walk in our gifting of prophecy or word of knowledge or word of wisdom. I start of by giving words of encouragement and if God gives me something more than I will share that, but through asking questions in regards to what you believe the Holy Spirit has shown me. I say, "I sense God has shown me this..." and they either say yes or no. It is learning to hear correctly but not forgetting to enjoy our relationship with God. I have seen you Shawn, make the prophetic fun, by focusing on your love relationship with God and loving people, not just trying to give prophetic words. So many people become intense on giving a word to validate themselves that they miss the whole point of why. The answer is because Jesus loves that person you just prophesied too. Love relationship first. It's what all the skeptics are missing as well.

Shawn this is exactly something that’s been so close to my heart, I’d see some slanders on media and it would really make me so sad. This is such a beautiful and healthy way of uncovering this topic, since it really had a big toll on my growth process because it made me confused as to why Christians would do and say these types of things, and it made me second guess so much on the prophetic. But this really uncovers it all, keep on keepin on man 🤯🔥! This is the meat topics Christians should have 🥩 🍴

Bless you, Shawn Bolz. In a local news paper, a guy posted a comment about two kinds of people. The people 'for', and the people 'against'... We can't really live a fullfilling life if we are always opposing something. Many of the 'fault finders' are opposing this and that, and think that God is pleased with it. But as I heard someone say many years ago, if you follow God whole-heartedly, you won't have time to oppose any thing, because you will find too many positive things in His Kingdom... 'Jealousy digs the mud that envy throws at success'... & 'He who throws mud, loses ground'.

You're a man, my son! In JrHi I had to memorize the Rudyard Kipling poem, "If". The lines that come to mind are, "If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:... ...If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,... ...If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!" I genuinely thank you for the courage you show to venture out onto the "kooky" limb and challenge all of us to join you in Jesus' name. I'm SO tired of scared, powerless religion. ❤

Thank you for this Shawn. Love your teaching and your stories. They provoke and inspire me to pursue the Lord more and more. Watching you is so great because while you are ministering the Lord you are sooooo human. You are (by your own confession I think) super self aware but your humanness hangs out all the more. Which is great because it's all covered with major Grace... And actually validates and it allows what you are ministering to go that much deeper in us listeners. Love you! Thank you for putting yourself "out there" for our benefit. You constantly minister how much He Loves Us... and "He can do this in me too!" This video was real confirmation. I have run into flak in breaking into and moving in healing. It has bothered me and I've had a desire to try and respond to it. But the Lord keeps telling me to 'leave it behind--go forward and just keep loving and praying for people and seeing more people healed.'

Last year was FULL of opposition! 😔 It caused so much insecurity in my soul. I love people so much and would and will pour out my whole life and resources to accommodate the needs of others. God still allows me to do so but only when he shows me who to lavish his love upon. I felt like I wasn't christlike when I decided to ignore people that weren't worth my time. When I made that decision with Gods help it brought back that peace that passed all my understanding. They were stealing my peace. There were manipulators! People that seek out easily manipulated people. I grew up in a home with parents who used to and still do manipulate people. God has separated me from them. I still love them from a distance but they will no longer trip me up and slow me down in my race towards my calling. It all drew me closer to God though and I look back and consider it training. I was just talking to my husband the other day about how God values our time and he longs for it to be steward properly. Like you were saying some people are not worth our time. I went to lunch with a religious lady who was telling me all about how she had been in our church for 27 years and how she doesnt like women who are beautiful because Christ was not beautiful for anyone to be drawn to his outward appearance. She also doesn't like women who wear tights because it shows off their curves even if they wear a long blouse over them. I realized later she was describing me and was feeling intimidated by the positions I had taken in our church and the voice that i was developing. She was trying to trap me in conversations about our pastor. And sending me pictures of her family and him from the 90s to prove their position in the church. Then another lady in a local business that I decided to collaborate with for my Photography mentioned how she dont think my Valentine's sessions would sell if I wasn't collaborating with them. That was just 2 weeks ago. I was crying so hard. But God stilled my soul and reminded me that who I am and what he has called me to is not dependent upon them. And thank God it's not! My hearts desire for my year is just me and God. All I want is just me and him. I dont hate people but that experience drew me to only rely on him. The persecution prevents my pride and self righteousness from growing and I consider it a blessing.

It is not forever, or until that person's life gets better. He is a good Father and He looks out for me.

It was very painful for me years ago to have two friends and fellow labourers in the Kingdom not believe in miracles I just experienced and shared with them through my giftings of intercession, evangelism and prophecy. I was looking to celebrate God's goodness. In the moment, when this couple told me that they really don't believe what I just told him- I was able to offer lots of grace like I totally get your reaction... however it was quite disappointing that mature people of faith might be less able to believe than people than some that don't actually know Jesus in some cases.... Its also a personal criticism to a certain extent however it's important not to go there or entertain that aspect for too long because God's grace is over all of us. Within the body of Christ it is true that you encounter people that have certain levels of unbelief which exist and or woundings or strongholds that don't allow or don't perceive the moving the gifts on the Earth.

How do I deal with someone in church whom I was giving a loving hint about something and he immediately went on a personal level and attacked me?

Do people only go to your shows for these readings? Kris Vallotton did the same at a leaders conference in the UK.

Shawn you’re all that and a Big Mac in Jesus! I say NO! to the naysayers. It’s their unbelief in Jesus. This has nothing to do with you. And Jesus will vindicate those who love Him because He is a just God. Amen to Jesus who loves us and prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies.

Wow Shawn looks really good in this video. Great skin and looks leaner. He must have detoxed his liver and started getting enough sleep or something. LOL

while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously 1 Peter 2 We always think of Jesus suffering on the cross and yes he suffered on the cross for us. But if you look up the word SUFFERED in the Greek it means heavy emotional pain beyond the ability to bear. as a human being He suffered so much rejection so much oppression, but it says he kept entrusting himself to the Father..that means he handed his emotions over to the Father for the Father to judge righteously: meaning he waited for the Father's final decision on the outcome. as a human being He suffering emotionally that was beyond the ability to bear.. sometimes I have to hand my emotions over to the Father and wait for his response.

Shaun, I say this because I love you. Please humble yourself and come to your senses. The true God of the Bible brought me out of the Charismatic Movement after I had a terrible experience when praying for the gift of prophecy. I won’t go into details but I’d love to talk with you but this is idolatry of spiritual gifts and of the Holy Spirit. The true Holy Spirit points towards the true gospel and that’s that we are all wretched sinners in need of a savior and that is Jesus Christ and looking to what he did on the cross and trusting that. The gospel should be the focus of a true Christian because only repentance and faith in Jesus can save. Please read scripture and really think about what I’m saying. I care for you and don’t want you to go to hell so please repent and trust in Jesus Christ!
