We know our defense is down Yet, they still rise to the occasion We know our offense is amazing. So, it's simple.. It's three games to go . The Lions gotta win it all.

Anyone taking an L in the SB is going to be heartbroken and yes with this team what they accomplished this season, its gonna hurt. But hear me out. As long as we don't pull a Seahawks interception in the endzone or a Titans 1 yard tackle to end the game I'll be able to stomach a loss especially if it were to the Bills. Now Baltimore or KC and I think most of us will be vomiting uncontrollably for the next week. Anything short of a SB appearance will be incredibly disappointing this year.

Its bad if they dont win the playoffs, but honestly what other team would even be in the playoofs if they were in their shoes after all that bad injury luck. I will still be disappointed, but nowhere near as disappointed I'd be if they weren't the most injured team in the playoffs. I wont use it as an excuse but at the same time it wont hurt as bad as it would if they weren't decimated on defense imo

The clock is ticking with this team. It's got to happen this year. We are going to lose both coordinators, on top of the fact that the Lions will have to figure out a way to pay Hutch, LaPorta, Gibbs, Arnold, etc. when the time comes. Not sure they will be able to keep them all.

Just came to say that at the moment, I am simply not spending too much time "expecting" an SB, and would encourage all Lions fans to do the same for their own health. I am happy to take one game at a time, and bask in each win rather than put more and more unhealthy expectations on the team I cheer for. Take that from a Toronto Maple Leafs fan: expectations at this stage are simply unhealthy for you, and can only make an ass of you right now. I guess Valenti and Co. have to, as part of their job, but don't ruin the playoffs with your playoff expectations. Once the Lions win the NFC Championship, that's the healthiest time to maybe entertain the notion that the Lions might go all the way. But until then, just enjoy the ride, one game at a time.

Yes, and they better. We're likely losing both coordinators, and I think every defensive coordinator in the league will be studying extra tape on Ben Johnson's offense. You only get a few years before someone figures out a counter to your offense.

I respectfully disagree with this thinking, although I'd be horribly disappointed should the Lions lose in the Superbowl; to come this far and get the #1 seed (inspite all the injuries)...if we lost IN THE SUPERBOWL I can't say it's a "failure"....NOT AT ALL. Reason being, the trajectory is still pointed upward, we got further than last year. HOWEVER, should we not reach at least the NFC Championship....YES, it's a failure. ALL THIS SAID, I do expect to win it all..... (my humble opinion)
