15:00 right on the money man so used to having constant stress when things are actually going super smooth it does get a little weird you made a lot of great points in this video I also like the one about how you want to constantly be working because you don't want to feel like a little bitch I can relate to this feeling exactly I did a half day today Sunday but I know I should really be taking care of myself more than just other people all the time no matter how much I charged them I still need my time

Keith thanks for the vids. Its always good to hear other poeple about things that i thought I'm the only one has those issues or negative thought. One thing i learned or start saying is that everything will fall in place when the time is right. We all have inside battles. Becuase we see family or friends that are ahead of us but I'm learning to live happy with what god gave me and What can i afford ...

I've been in that dark place Keith. I was a produce department manager and I did the whole freak out thing on a regular basis. My crew were always worried about me, but my store manager was a complete micromanaging manipulative crazy person. She demanded so much out of me and never gave me the tools or people to meet her demands. I freaked out, threw shit, threatened to quit completely, and looking back, I could have done it all differently.... I was good at managing people, training, and all of the ordering/paperwork. But as soon as she came through I wanted to pull my hair out. She can piss off... I stepped down and started just being a clerk again. But my journey to going full time pressure washing and soft washing is becoming a reality. She will soon see me rise above her bullshit and be more. Yeah she taught me how to manage, but I can take that with me and train, mentor and get good people that will look to me as someone who has their shit together. I felt the warrior mentality and it broke me. BUT i learned from it! Thanks for the video man!

Ohh yeah bruh... totally. I spent my adolescence and early adulthood working for my father doing lawn care maintenance season after season... for what I would now consider a laughable pay rate. I was designing landscapes for peanuts before I ever knew what that kind of work was even worth. He was former military and a police officer so as you can imagine there was no slack. His favorite thing to tell me was that “I could take a break when I was dead.” I remember cussing my dad under my breath for being so hard on me, but I didn’t appreciate the absolute badass that he made out of me. Definitely embraced that “do what it takes to get it done and get it done right” mentality early on. I carried that over when I began my landscaping business and that warrior mentality had me overwhelming and overworking myself. Overthinking everything. My employees constantly telling me to take a break and slow down but I just couldn’t because I was so focused on completing jobs as fast as I could. One of the most difficult things for me to do was to SLOW DOWN... to realize I wasn’t a robot and that my customers didn’t expect me to be. When you’re all in a frenzy, your clients can sense that and it comes off unprofessional. You approach that job site calmly and complete that project with steady resolve. Take your time, learn to delegate and actually let the crew you hire step up and be an extension of yourself. You are so in touch with the internal thought processes that go on inside my mind... it’s almost like you’ve been there before...✌️🎯
