This is me to a T right now!....I call it positive stress, this is the year its all finally coming together, 2 years of reinvesting everything, sharing tears of stress in my kitchen with my wife watching everything we have flow into a business. Its a different type of stress now and having the mental fortitude to get through it will keep you on the right path. I catch myself trying to take the advice of tony and live in a beautiful state any chance i get.

Me too. This may be what nobody talks about...the stress of managing a lot of money. Having it flow in/out at half a million a year is not unusual at the 5 year mark. It's a good stress, but stress nonetheless.

We've missed you at the past couple GIE'S, but I would love for you to see how big of an influence you are on our business. We have moved away from residential, and are taking over the city of Knoxville one contract at a time. The sense of pride that comes from improving your community, and impacting lives on a bigger scale is sometimes overwhelming. Much appreciation! I wish you health, prosperity, and great relationships. You have earned everything that is coming.

DO NOT READ. Hey Keith, good video. I have a fairly successful landscape/ lawn service company but I'm now as big as I can handle without really delegating important roles such as bidding, quality assurance, time management, equipment purchases and analyzing pnl's. I'm sure I can find someone, they may already work for me, but people put the wrong employees in management spots everyday and run their business straight in the ground. We run 6 crews everyday and I'm now stuck. I dreamed about running three crews but overnight I went from 2-6. Great problems. Thanks man.

Thanks Keith, we met a few years ago at GIE, we talked for a few about how far I've come in the 1st year out. You were overwhelmed by how unstressed it seemed to be for me and I have to say it felt good coming from you. I owed it to you and hand full of other KZbinrs that had helped me get started and the hours upon hours I spent absorbing everything I could from you guys it really, helped me In ways I never thought possible. But the truth was, looking back on my plate than and my plate 4 years later? Shit man, it's a whole different ball game.i really didn't know what I didn't know yet. I've reached points in my business that I'm not sure where to go to next, and also learned where I've wasted alot of time, energy, and money. None has been a total waste but the stress and anxiety is here. Been in a rut for awhile now and today's video was like you directed just for me. I appreciate the boost in confidence, the boost in morale, and at very least another perspective and reminder that I'm not the only one that needs to let down the wall of "I can fix it this" and start really contemplating on what's my time worth, and what needs to be in my wheels house, and just wants not. Sometimes your videos come out on the day I really needed to hear it and today was that day. Hope we see ya this year in Louisville. Good luck bro

You are an absolute inspiration Kalfas! I have watched you for the last 5 years Brian too. The words you speak are truth. I started with a shitty puke green F150 that I bought with life insurance money my dad left me with a shitty trailer and a 1976 mower that I put a retaining wall in, in exchange for. You have kept me going and now I have 3 trucks (one is broke) that shitty trailer I started with, a pair of zero turns, a couple blowers and trimmers. I only buy new equiptment now. You are right about the just sliding the card. I dropped $6k on a brand new enclosed trailer and $4k on a brand new zero turn this spring. Cash flow is so good right now I am beimg forced to expand. After 5 years we now have over 50 clients. We are ever expanding. Its crazy! You rock dude! Rock them old man socks! You put in your time. Now you can wear whatever tf you want cause you got that bail money in stacks! Hahaha

If you aren't stressed to a point and behind then you aren't busy enough. I think its easier to get stuff done when you are being pushed vs when you don't have too much to do. Just my opinion. Stress comes with this and you better be able to adapt fast and keep moving forward. Its a major grind doing this but plenty of upside. Don't be afraid to price higher. Takes a long time to realize that but the lowest price doesn't always get the job. Some people attribute low prices to low quality work. I'd rather miss out on something than do something for nothing. Zero point in that. If your good at talking and presenting yourself and doing quality work people will pay. Then you will feel better about the weight on your shoulders. This stuff is no joke. Ive been doing it for almost 20 years and it isn't "easy" but I'd take this over an office job any day.

We are meant for specific reasons being rich isn't the only goal when you get down on yourself just think of the poor guy working for a guy chasing their dreams. Is it better to hire someone that wont work as good as you do and wont have the ethic. Or is it better to stay solo all the profit is mine and my clients pay extra for my perfect work.
