Persistent bad breath. Went to doctor. No sinusitis, no postnasal drip, no adenoids or tonsil stones, no dental problems. Just greenish liquid in mouth and persistent bad breath. Using reflux drugs (ppi) but no change in breath. (also Periodontologist told me it could be my bottom wisdom tooth even it grew normal. But jaw surgeon tells it can not be the wisdom.) I'm going crazy for real. No solution from more than 6-7 doctor.

@@yunghage4680 could still consider a tonsillectomy but also gotta know it’ll be a very tough recovery.

This guy is a straight-shooter, but I have a question: I'm 31 yrs and have Adoniod at the back of my nose. Can it be the cause of halitosis? I weigh about 227 lbs btw. Everything was normal up to my pituitary gland being removed that's when my bad breath started.

@@l0ne_w0lf56 while it could be the adenoids…I’d be more concerned about post operative sinus crusting/debris that could be the cause.

@dr.shellenberger9830 come to think of it my post-surgery MRI did find debris, and there was big hard mucus "idk what to call it" comming out of my nose, is there any other way to remove it or do I have to do another surgery?

I've had problems with bad breath for 15 years. I've had all possible examinations in the internal organs and oral cavity and everything is fine. Doctors do not know how to detect the cause of bad breath. My parents also have halitosis. Can it be hereditary?
